Gyumri est la deuxième plus grande ville d'Arménie. C'est l'épicentre culturel de l'artisanat arménien, de la cinématographie, du théâtre et bien plus encore. Dzitoghtsyan House est un musée urbain de Gyumri qui expose des éléments de la vie urbaine quotidienne de Gyumri, ainsi que les caractéristiques culturelles et architecturales locales de la ville. La forteresse noire est une forteresse impériale russe abandonnée à Gyumri servant actuellement de salle de musique pour des concerts et des pièces de théâtre.

Cette visite vous mènera à la ville de Gyumri - autrefois la capitale artistique et peut-être la plus belle ville d'Arménie. Vous aurez la chance d'explorer le centre-ville avec ses deux églises célèbres, ainsi que la forteresse noire; construite pendant la guerre russo-turque, la forteresse sert toujours de base militaire.
Officiellement Dzitoghtsyan House-Museum of Social Life and National Architecture est un musée à Gyumri, en Arménie. Elle a été fondée en 1984 dans la maison de la famille Dzitoghtsyan, datant du 19ème siècle. Le musée expose des éléments de la vie urbaine quotidienne de Gyumri, ainsi que les caractéristiques culturelles et architecturales locales de la ville. La célèbre maison de la famille Dzitoghtsyan a été construite en 1872 par quatre frères qui ont émigré du village arménien occidental de Dzitogh, à la ville d'Alexandropol. [1] Il est construit avec la célèbre pierre de tuf rouge de Shirak.
Le prochain endroit inclus dans cette visite est le complexe monastique du 10ème siècle de Marmashen, situé sur la rive de la rivière Akhuryan. Ici, vous pouvez explorer le berceau de l'architecture gothique de renommée mondiale.

Very enjoyed the trip, for info future visitors: The tour price includes the work of a guide and a driver, tickets to museums, and lunch, you can only take money with you for souvenirs if you want to purchase something en route (but you can do without, everything is sold in the capital at almost every step).

It was fascinating tour to Gyumri with Sanasar. He is one of the best guides in Yerani Travel (I was on 3 other tours). While we were going to Gyumri he told history of Armenia and a lot of interesting facts, stories. Road to Gyumri (also part of Silk Road) is very exciting. You can see beautiful sceneries, mountain ranges and hear interesting Armenian history. Gyumri have got rich history and it's look very good after earthquake in 1988. It's developed and modern city. In museum you hear history of Gyumri and his citizens. May be you will be lucky and see the ghost :), I didn't see. In Gyumri we had a very tasty lunch. On appetizer we had salad, vegetables. I have never eaten so delicious chicken salad (I think it's Armenian national dish, because in my and other countries I haven't seen such dish). Main course was barbecue. After lunch we went to Marmashen. Marmashen monastery is situated in pleasing place near river. It's good-looking monastery. Locals come here to relax and see beatiful views and green fields.
