Gyumri est l'une des 2èmes villes les plus importantes d'Arménie. Centre culturel important. De nombreux films célèbres ont été tournés dans cette ville.

Le complexe du monastère de Harich est situé dans la région de Shirak, sur le versant nord de la montagne Aragats. Elle se compose de deux églises : Saint-Grégoire et Saint-Astvatsatsin, un vestibule, un clocher, des dépôts, une chapelle, une école et d'autres bâtiments. Aucune information claire n'a été conservée sur la construction de la première église du monastère, mais l'analyse des inscriptions sur les murs prouve que l'église remonte au VIIe siècle. Harichavank était un centre éducatif important, qui a prospéré en particulier au 13ème siècle. C'est un autre échantillon de la pensée architecturale médiévale arménienne, reflet de l'esprit de l'époque et témoin historique. Le célèbre écrivain arménien Avetik Isahakyan a fait ses études primaires à l'école locale.
La deuxième ville d'Arménie, Gyumri, qui s'appelait aussi Leninakan, Alexandrapol, et dans la version arménienne originale Kumayri, était habitée depuis le IIIe millénaire. Ayant parcouru un très long chemin historique, Gyumri se présente aujourd'hui avec sa vieille ville, qui est mieux préservée dans le centre-ville. Chaque bâtiment de Gyumri a son histoire, qui est riche en esprit architectural médiéval arménien. Cette ville touristique est attrayante en raison de ses beaux bâtiments, rues, églises et, bien sûr, son humeur unique et unique Gyumri; après tout, Gyumri est le centre de l'humour, des arts et de l'artisanat de l'Arménie. Les trois célèbres églises de Gyumri et la forteresse noire sont également incluses dans le tour de la ville.
La forteresse noire est une forteresse défensive construite en pierre noire. Il a été construit en 1834 après la Seconde Guerre russo-persane. Le système de drainage, qui protégeait les murs du château de la pluie, mérite une attention particulière. La forteresse noire, aujourd'hui transformée en centre touristique, rappelle son passé militaire.
Le samedi, au lieu de Harichavank, nous visiterons le monastère de Marmashen.

You will be able to see a different glimpse of Armenia via numerous small villages to reach the monastery and ultimately you will arrive at a beautiful city. The guide Hayk was very informed and in perfect English informed about every aspect and driver Vahagn was very carefull. It is of great interest to try to see the Iron Fountain if you can walk which is far away from the centre and the Blue Iron Fountain which is close to the centre.

Yesterday I was on a day trip to Gyumri, Harichavank and Black Fortress with One Way tour and I wanna say a huge thanks to our Guide Tigran who made our trip unforgettable. That was the best tour ever. He’s professionalism is outstanding and our day was amazing, full of interesting stories and jokes. Waiting forward to see him again in other tours as well. Overall a very full and enjoyable day. The tour shuttle was full and we didn't get very good seats, but really that was the only downside. The guide Hayk did a Great Job handling the tour in Armenian and English. The destinations were quite interesting and we felt that we had enough time in each place to explore fully. A very good sightseeing option at a very reasonable price!

The driver Artyom 5+ The guide Tigran 2- Please take care of your guide's training. He is ignorant of Armenian church history and provides wrong information. And he provides either wrong or half done information on everything. Which is unacceptable because he introduces Armenia to foreigners and local people. Guide's job is a serious job. And they should be very well prepared.

13.08.24 was a tour of Marmashen, Seve Bird, and Gyumri City tour, very much enjoyed everything, especially the accompanying guide Armine, very interesting to listen to, took many photos, would gladly go on tour again!
