Bukchon Hanok Village est un lieu à Séoul où se trouvent de nombreuses vieilles maisons traditionnelles. En vous promenant dans Bukchon, vous pourrez voir une variété d'ateliers et de magasins construits sur la maison coréenne traditionnelle appelée "Hanok". Il est également naturellement relié au restaurant traditionnel coréen où vous visitez et dégustez des plats traditionnels coréens au premier abord.
Construit vers 1900, c'est un bâtiment « Hanok » avec une valeur de préservation fabriqué avec la meilleure technologie de son époque, et était connu comme la maison d'une puissante famille à l'époque. Il est actuellement géré par le gouvernement métropolitain de Séoul, et en raison de sa belle architecture, il est parfois utilisé comme lieu de tournage pour K-Movies.
Lieu de naissance du deuxième président coréen, Yun Bo-seon, il est célèbre pour être un manoir Hanok bien construit qui est rare à Séoul, en plus d'être grand. La belle-fille de Yun y vit actuellement, et il est entretenu avec des fonds du National Trust.

Veronica is a food culture expert, and very willing to share her valuable insights. We had a delicious lunch and tea, visited a typical traditional house and loved all her stories. Nice tour of the area. Great main meal - multiple courses and final tea stop was very filling. Lots of walking which was fine by us. Would have loved if the guide would have stopped for explanations to entire group vs the few that were by his side. We asked for him to do this but it didn’t happen. Great explanation of the foods at the stops! A few nice stops at food museum, traditional homes, etc. recommend the tour.

A very different food tour and thoroughly enjoyable. Veronica shared some interesting into Korean, culture, food, history and eating etiquette. Lunch was an incredible array of dishes in a small restaurant serving traditional Korean food. The tea stop was again interesting in a lovely tea house. Recommend this tour to gain an insight into real Korean food.

My husband and I had an amazing time on the tour!! I love doing food tours in new places and this exceeded expectations. Veronica was a fantastic tour guide, she’s super knowledgeable, and great to be around. For lunch we got to try lots of different Korean dishes, and learn about them as well. As a vegetarian I was worried about how many options there would be for me, but a lot of the dishes are vegetarian friendly! We then walked around bukchon hanok village and learned some history. We finished with a tea house which had great traditional Korean teas. We loved spending the day with Veronica and highly recommend!

I loved this tour! It was a mix of history, culture and delicious nourishing food. Veronica was absolutely delightful, easy to understand and so experienced. The lunch was amazing and so unique, not something I would have found on my own or felt comfortable going on my own as it is a hidden gem. The food was healthy and I loved it all, especially the local mountain herbs! The pace was relaxed but we got to see a lot. The little stop at the tea shop was so cute and the tea delicious. Veronica, you made the tour amazing and I loved hearing about your past work too! Lots of experience in the hospitality industry. Thank you!

Each place we travel to we always do a food tour. This is without doubt the best we have done. Veronica was an amazing guide , very helpful and informative. We went first to a very traditional Michelin starred restaurant. There was a multitude of truly amazing dishes , many I had never heard of . We then explored a Hanoch village and despite truly torrential rain had an excellent time . We finished in a wonderful tea therapy house . Such a perfect way to see the area .
