Admirer la gare, bel exemple de notre Art nouveau par Eliel Saarinen, de l'extérieur comme de l'intérieur. Près de la gare 2 bâtiments importants supplémentaires, le théâtre national et la galerie nationale.
Dans cette zone, il y a de nombreux sites très intéressants à voir, comme le Parlement, le musée des arts contemporains, le nouveau music-hall, la salle Finlandia et Oodi, notre nouvelle bibliothèque centrale qui a remporté en 2019 le prix de la meilleure bibliothèque du monde. .
Si le temps le permet, une visite à l'intérieur de l'une des plus grandes bibliothèques centrales du monde! Dégustation de nourriture !
Ici, nous aurons l'un de nos arrêts. L'arrêt se fera dans une Villa du 19ème siècle.
Ici, dans cet ancien quartier populaire, nous profiterons de la vie locale.

I have had guides from all over the world and Maddalena is among the very best. We thought we booked a food tour of Helsinki, which we got, but equally as important and impressive was the tour of the city, told through the eyes of a local with the passion and pride of a longtime resident. The food was well paced and thoughtfully modified for two of us who are pescatarians. Each dish was specifically selected to expose us to Finnish culture and the varied geography of the country. We also learned a lot about the city, its history, and its iconic buildings and architecture. Educational, fun, and very interesting. Highly recommend.
This was a great way to explore Helsinki and taste authentic foods from the region. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful tour with Magdalena. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Finland and Helsinki and took us to some wonderful spots to taste traditional Finnish food. She was great with our teenagers and even spent extra time with us at the end and gave us tips for the rest of our visit. Definitely try out her tour- it was amazing

We had a great time with Maddalena on our food tour through Helsinki. The tour included tastings of many game meats, fruits, berries and of course fish! We walked to many of the main sites as well as some off the tourist path. Maddalena is incredibly knowledgeable and personable making the tour a wonderful way to start our trip in Helsinki!

We visited the waterfront food market in Helsinki in May 2024, as part of an Insight Vacations 'Northern Capitals' tour. Great venue! We tasted smoked reindeer - pleasant! I returned to have some lunch at a cafe inside - excellent!

Maddelena is an awesome guide! She shared information about the food, daily life, and local history. All of the shops/vendors seem to genuinely enjoy the interaction. Because these tours are private, they are efficient and there is a lot of customization that can be done. I found Maddelena more responsive via email in planning this tour than others I’ve been on in other cities. I highly recommend this tour early in your trip so she can help you book other meals during your stay! Our group of 4 really enjoyed it.

My wife and I had a wonderful time being guided by Maddalena to some of Kallio's hidden corners, enjoying superb food and drink in locations known to the locals. We saw and learned a lot about the area, and also about Helsinki and Finland - both its history and its current affairs.
