Oodi est la superbe bibliothèque centrale d'Helsinki, ouverte en 2018. Connue pour son architecture moderne saisissante, Oodi est plus qu’une simple bibliothèque – c’est un carrefour communautaire dynamique offrant des livres, des espaces créatifs, un cinéma, un café et une vue panoramique sur la ville. Située en face de l'hôtel du Parlement, Oodi est rapidement devenue un symbole de l'innovation, de l'apprentissage et de la culture ouverte finlandaise.
Le stade olympique d'Helsinki, inauguré en 1938 et conçu par Yrjö Lindegren et Toivo Jäntti, est le plus grand stade de Finlande et un monument de l'architecture fonctionnaliste. Il a notamment accueilli les Jeux olympiques d'été de 1952 et reste un site majeur pour les sports et les événements après sa dernière rénovation en 2020.
Le monument de Sibelius est une sculpture célèbre à Helsinki en Finlande, honorant le compositeur Jean Sibelius. Créé par Eila Hiltunen en 1967, il comporte plus de 600 tuyaux en acier et un buste de Sibelius, symbolisant sa musique et son héritage.
La cathédrale d'Uspenski est l'église orthodoxe orientale en briques rouges d'Helsinki, connue pour ses dômes dorés et ses vues sur les collines. C’est la plus grande cathédrale orthodoxe d’Europe occidentale.

Nous y passerons environ 30 minutes, vous laissant le temps de déguster une cuisine finlandaise ou un léger rafraîchissement tout en profitant du charme unique du marché.
Suomenlinna est une forteresse maritime historique du XVIIIe siècle classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, située juste au large de la côte d'Helsinki. Au cours de notre visite, nous passerons environ deux heures à explorer ensemble ses sentiers pittoresques et son histoire fascinante.
Kauppatori signifie « Place du marché » en finnois. Après notre retour de Suomenlinna en ferry, notre visite se termine ici. Vous aurez du temps libre pour explorer les charmants stands, déguster des friandises locales et profiter de l'ambiance animée à votre rythme pour le reste de la journée. La visite devrait se terminer vers 16h.

Wonderful time on the Helsinki tour. The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly, and brought the city’s history to life with lots of interesting stories and information. The driver was also very friendly and made the journey comfortable and enjoyable. It was a great way to see Helsinki, learn about its fascinating history and get a feel for the city. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Helsinki!
The Helsinki and Suomenlinna sightseeing tour is a fantastic way to see the city's top landmarks and explore a historic sea fortress.
I recently joined a guided tour of Helsinki and found it to be a genuinely enjoyable experience. The pace was comfortable, and our guide was knowledgeable without overwhelming us with too many facts. We visited several key spots, including the market square, the cathedral, and a few quieter neighbourhoods that gave a nice sense of local life. The weather was a bit on the chilly side, but that’s to be expected here, and it didn’t take away from the charm of the city. I particularly liked the mix of modern architecture and older buildings, which gave the place a unique character. It wasn’t the most spectacular tour I’ve ever done, but it was well-organised, friendly, and worth the time if you want a good introduction to Helsinki without feeling rushed.

We had a fantastic experience exploring Helsinki with our incredible guide Sergio! He was so knowledgeable and delightful. We learned so much about Finland and Helsinki as we took in the beautiful sights. We stopped at the local outdoor market and Sergio had delicious berries for us to taste then we did some shopping and tried some local delicacies for lunch. Sergio went above and beyond by making sure we all made it back to our hotels after the tour. I highly recommend this tour. 10 out of 10!

We pair of senior gal relatives felt that this tour was wonderful. We were picked up from our hotel promptly and joined only 3 others in the van. Sergio greeted us warmly, and was a consummate host throughout the tour. He accommodated my mobility restrictions considerately. He was knowledgeable and unhurried. We enjoyed the local Finnish driver, too, who helped with the commentary. This tour was first rate!

Did the Helsinki and Suomenlinna City Highlights tour and, to be fair, it was absolutely brilliant. Pick-up and drop-off were spot on, communication was great, and everything was very well organised. The tour guide was lovely, the driver was a gent, and there was great craic and good vibes throughout the whole trip. Really enjoyed seeing Helsinki and heading over to Suomenlinna. Only thing to keep in mind is that there’s a good bit of walking around the fortress, as cars can’t get in, so you’d want to have decent comfortable shoes on — otherwise you’ll know all about it afterwards! 😂 All in all, a great day out. Would definitely recommend it. No complaints at all.
I had a wonderful time on the Helsinki city tour. From the very beginning, the communication was clear, friendly, and well organized. The hotel pick-up and drop-off were convenient and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It was a beautiful day and a great way to discover Helsinki, with plenty of interesting places and sights along the way. I especially enjoyed visiting the fortress, although it is quite large, so I would recommend being prepared for a fair amount of walking. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Helsinki in a comfortable and enjoyable way.
