Excursion privée d'une journée complète dans le désert de Wahiba Sands et Wadi Bani Khalid

We had the most wonderful day exploring Oman with Kahlil, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Our adventure began with a visit to the desert, where we enjoyed a camel ride and experienced traditional Omani coffee. From there, Kahlil took us to one of the most beautiful swimming spots we’ve ever visited – the perfect escape from the heat with crystal-clear water and stunning scenery. After our swim, he gave us the option of stopping for a quick lunch before taking us to the vibrant Mutrah Souq, where he shared some excellent tips on bartering that made the experience even more enjoyable. We loved wandering through the market before Kahlil dropped us at the airport, making the whole day completely stress-free. Throughout the tour, Kahlil was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into Oman’s history, culture, and spectacular architecture. He pointed out so many landmarks that we would never have appreciated on our own. Most importantly, Kahlil was kind, thoughtful, professional, and an excellent driver. We felt completely safe and well looked after throughout the day. He also kept us supplied with plenty of cold water, which was very much appreciated in the Omani heat. We cannot recommend Kahlil highly enough. If you’re looking for a memorable, personalised day in Oman with someone who genuinely cares about giving you the best experience, look no further. We loved every minute and are already looking forward to coming back to explore even more with Kahlil!

Khalil was fantastic from start to finish. His comms were great- checking in with us the day before our time together. He was punctual and organized. Khalil's English is fantastic. We had awesome banter and lots of laughs all day. We learned a lot about Oman. Khalil took us to the desert in his massive V8 Toyota. He reduced the tyre pressure so that we could drive offroad in the sand. We rode camels, and went to an awesome fresh water swimming hole where cute little fish nibbled at our feet and hands. When the tour was due to end, Khalil kicked on and went above and beyond, patiently waiting for us at the Souk by the sea, so that he could personally deliver us back to the airport to help us avoid the cost and inconvenience of haggling with a taxi driver. What a fantastic, memorable day.

We had an absolutely fabulous day with our guide and driver, Fauzi. He was very professional and friendly and ensured we had a comfortable and safe trip whilst maximising our enjoyment. Wadi Bani Khalid was beautiful and the quite strenuous trip into the caves guided by Fauzi was rewarding. The visit to the Wahiba Sands was amazing - we visited a bedouin village before making our way up to the top of the dunes in the 4x4 with Fauzi's expert driving. We had opted for the 10.30am start from Muscat which allowed us to see the sunset over the dunes - truly breathtaking. We are most grateful to Fauzi for making this such a memorable trip.

The tour operator kindly offered an option to start our hotel a bit later at 10:30 am to see the sunset in the dunes. The driver/guide was so kind, thoughtful and organised that he chose the best position and timing to enjoy the wadi canyon and the sunset driving in the dunes. He explained Omani and Islamic culture along the way and gave us time to break and rest from time to time on the way.

Wow! What a beaut experience! We really had a day to remember. Fanja, Wadi Bin Khalid and finally the epic Wahiba Sands. Every stage of the day allowed us to create some unique memories and in a very relaxed way. Additionally, we were so fortunate to come on the National Holiday weekend as not only did we get to enjoy the epic sites and activities - but we also got to watch some exhilarating dune racing as part of the Bidiyah Car Challenge Carnival. This is all thanks to Jihad our superb tour guide! What a humble, thoughtful and informative guy! We really enjoyed learning from him and generally appreciated his calm vibes throughout the day. Thank you for the snacks and bread rolls for the camel too! We hope to take another tour with Jihad if we ever get the chance again!

Adil was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and funny! He had an answer for every question we asked. Wadi Bani Khalid was amazing, it was a little busy with other tourists but it didn't detract from the experience and there were plenty of opportunities to find a quiet spot to swim. Adil found us a quiet spot in the desert away from other people to watch the sunset. There was a lot of driving from Muscat but the time passed quickly chatting to Adil. It was nice and convenient to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Would recommend this tour to anyone.

We had the trip with Ali. Ali was very pleasant, non-intrusive and he told a lot about Oman, which we found very interesting. The trip alone with Ali we found very personal, because he could respond better to us. We had received very good local food and drink. Wadi Bani Khalid was built straight in front, more coffee shops are being built (which was not disturbing). But we had to hike a little longer. There the view and the water was a dream. Must have seen. Afterwards we went to the Wahiba Sands with camel riding and sunset. Ali had taken beautiful pictures of us and we drank delicious homemade dates and date cookies and Arabic coffee. It was a long day, but nice. Thank you
