Plitvice est connu comme un phénomène naturel car il continue de changer par la sédimentation du carbonate de calcium et crée des types spéciaux d'algues et de mousse, de tuf ou de travertin qui se sont déposés et se déposent encore pour former les barrages naturels qui séparent les lacs. Puisque le processus est en cours aujourd'hui, comme il l'a toujours fait, de nouvelles barrières de travertin, des rideaux, des stalactites, des canaux et des cascades sont construits au fur et à mesure que ceux existants changent. Donc, peu importe si vous avez déjà visité les lacs, ils ont probablement un aspect différent maintenant, vous pouvez donc les visiter à nouveau et ne jamais vous ennuyer. Outre les lacs, il existe des grottes intéressantes dans lesquelles des vestiges d'établissements préhistoriques ont été découverts.

We were so pleased to find this tour from Split to allow us to see Plitvice and it's beautiful waterfalls. Plitvice was stunning and we appreciated the commentary from our tour guide, Lovro. Lovro did an excellent job at controlling our especially large group while never making us feel rushed. We covered a lot of ground and enjoyed some truly epic scenery. For future trips, we have 2 pieces of advice. First, for groups this large, we recommend management provide 2 tour guides to allow us to split into smaller groups to move quicker. We did have to wait around sometimes because the group was so large. Secondly, we wished we had enough time for a proper lunch by the lakes. While we were very pleased that we were warned in advance this might happen (such that we brought a lot of snacks with us), it would have been nice to have lunch there. 10/10 for Lovro though, I don't know how he did it but he was so impressive. I had an amazing time with Richard our tour guide!!! He was incredible and so knowledgeable. We really enjoyed Plitvice lakes it is gorgeous and very well worth it!

Plitvice Lakes National Park was absolutely breathtaking and one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia. The turquoise lakes, beautiful waterfalls, and lush scenery were truly unforgettable. A special thank you to our wonderful guide, Richard, for being so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the tour. Although the call time was really early, that was because we have to beat the long lines on the train going to the upper lakes. So good thinking on the guide's part. We also really appreciate our driver, Henry, for being professional, safe, punctual, and making the journey comfortable and enjoyable. Their excellent service made the entire experience even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Luke is the best tour guide!! Gave us very detailed information about interesting facts, history, landscapes etc. The hiking duration was fine and we enjoyed the views and Plitvice’s natural habitats! Definitely recommend!!

The Plitvice Lakes tour from Split is an absolute must! The scenery is simply incredible, with breathtaking views and crystal-clear lakes that look like something out of a postcard. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. A special mention to our guide Luka, who was fantastic.
