Our guide for private tour was very hard to hear and understand. He would start talking before our party of four was all at a spot. Did not enjoy as much as had expected. Was not worth the cost of a private tour.
Guide thick accent Difficult to understand Quick not very in depth overview Completely skipped 1/3 of the tour by not taking us to the Spanish steps The underground water cistern was a complete waste of time and very boring
Excellent tour, we had the best guide! Simona was the absolute best, very sweet, knowledgeable and offered many recommendations that came in handy later in our trip. She made our experience a 10/10!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review
Our private tour of the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon was an unforgettable highlight for our family of six. Our guide, Simona, was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely funny—she made us feel as though we had known her for years. The tour was worth it for the underground visit to the Aqua Virgo aqueduct alone. Seeing the ancient system that still feeds the Trevi Fountain today, along with glimpses of everyday Roman life from centuries past, was truly remarkable. We also appreciated the included paid access to the fountain, where Simona walked us through the tradition of tossing a coin the proper way. As we made our way to the Pantheon, Simona pointed out shops selling locally made goods and shared excellent dining recommendations. At the Pantheon, she brought the history of the ancient temple‑turned‑church to life and even showed us the best spots for photos. It was a memorable, beautifully guided experience from start to finish.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review.
Simona was wonderful as the tour guide for this tour. She was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of great insight!
We had a private tour and it was amazing! My kids asked tons of questions (they normally don’t) boys age’s 15 & 22 and our guide was awesome! Our family had a wonderful time So interesting
Our guide was amazing. Our tour got delayed. But this company was great, they found time for us later in the day. The knowledge that our guide had was beyond excellent.
My guide Donatella was fantastic. She knew so many historical facts and Italian history I’d never heard. She was very friendly and energetic which made the experience even better than I expected. I would highly recommend this tour. There was a lot packed into a short time (roughly 2 hours) with a sea of fascinating information. Not only did I learn about the locations we went to but while walking from point to point she pointed out many things I would have never noticed on my own with detailed information about each one. This is a great way to experience a few parts of an amazing city. If you’re traveling solo it’s the perfect way to learn about the city from someone who knows so much.
Our guide, Giacomo, is obviously passionate about the architecture snd history of Rome. He provided an excellent walking tour replete with many details beyond those posted on the signs.
A very informative tour. Simona did an excellent job guiding us through the crowds as well as showing us the important artifacts. We quite enjoyed the underground viscus caprarius and the Pantheon. A worthwhile tour!!
