We had an excellent time learning about Florence with Stephano! He was very knowledgeable about both it's history and current in- and outs. His passion for the topics was contagious and he's a solid public speaker. The city has a past that goes back for thousands of years, with some remarkable twists and turns that Stephano highlighted brilliantly during our walk. We would have never guessed at some of the smaller details in you can see all over the streets, having such historical significance. To encourage interaction, a quiz was incorporated into the tour, and I am happy to saw we won it! Which netted us a lovely dinner in a local restaurant, a bit off the beaten path which we would likely have missed otherwise. Best pasta we had of our two weeks in Italy!
Stefano is a very talented guy. He never lost his high level of energy. He organized the tour terrific, although we were lot of people, with young children too. After the tour my family and I, felled that we learned lot of information not only regarding the city of Florence, the Medici family and the other important persons that lived in the city, but also the culture, the food, and many secrets. It could not be any better!
Stefano was an outstanding guide for our first night introduction to Florence at the end of July! Great time to do a walking tour as the city was literally cooling off rather than warming up. Jam packed with information & interesting tidbits & facts, Stefano’s love & passion for his city’s history & culture were very evident throughout the 2.5hr tour (he went a little over time, but it was well worth it). Gave fantastic recommendations for food, shopping & where to see the best of Firenze while keeping us engaged with stories & tales taking us all the way through the major historical sites of Florence. Even my 14 year old daughter who was “walked out” with paid tours after 3 weeks in Europe thought this was one of our very best & she paid attention, learnt a ton & didn’t mind the tour length. Even others who were listening in on his guiding while we were going through the city, you could see were interested- some had even wanted to tag along! We got our bearings for the city, can walk past sites knowing more about the history behind it rather than “just another statue, building, or what do they have/ use these for?”. Well worth the time, full price cost & beyond! Just book it! Thank you Stefano!!
Stefano’s tour was excellent! it was fun, informative, engaging, and he answered all of everyone’s questions. So it was in-depth, but fun and light at the same time. I whole heartedly recommend taking a few hours to see the city with this tour. You will not be disappointed.
Great tour in the evening so it's not too hot. Interesting and entertaining. Our guide, Stefano, was very enthusiastic and really welcoming!
