It’s a great introduction to some good food available by an easy walk around the central historical area. Manny was an engaging guide and if the other couples and families on our tour are anything to go by, it’s a fun way to meet some people from other places
We had a great time with Francesco. He was very informative & interesting. We ate great food, & tasted olive oil & balsamic vinegar. We would recommend this tour to everyone.
Francesco was incredibly knowledgeable and delivered information that kept us both informed and laughing. We made many stops and left too full to have lunch.
Our guide was amazing!! We loved the tour so much to sample. We were stuffed when it was finished. Loved the history lesson!
Highly recommend adding this very cool and interesting experience to your Florence itinerary! A perfect way to spend an afternoon! Anna our guide was so knowledgeable and fun! 5 stars!
We toured all the local spots in different neighborhoods. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable on food, art, wine and all things in Florence! The food was incredible! Highly recommend this tour.
Guide was excellent, unfortunately can't recall his name. A nice way to explore Florence - more info and sights than just food.
Our tour guide Franscisco was awesome. very informative and engaging. great personality. The stops were great and the food was amazing. he had very good insight to offer as well. would definetly recommend.
Food and drink is absolutely fantastic on this tour. There was a wide variety and plenty of it with excellent quality. Central Market and lunch stops are particularly good and entertaining. Our guide actually was not that good but the food was so good it more than made up for that.
I scheduled this tour last minute bc our first day in Florence was going to be very rainy so I figured a tour that spent much time inside the market and food venues would be a good way to get a feel for the city but stay mostly out of the weather. I was a little hesitant to book a group tour because we were traveling with our two teenagers who had not been abroad before and really wanted to make sure. They were engaged with the guide and the information. Could not be more happy with our experience! Our guide, Dila, was AWESOME! our group was just the four of us and two couples from Israel, so eight in total. Dila was super knowledgeable, engaging, interactive, and our kids loved her. She took us to so many delicious places, factored in various dietary requirements of those on the tour plus was flexible and added in things we had read about and wanted to try. The Central Market portion of the tour was really cool--she took us to a vendor there who had tastings prepared for us (truffle honey, balsamic vinegar of different ages, olive oils, etc)--we learned a ton amd had a blast. It was a great value, too! We did several private tours during our trip and they were awesome too but quite expensive. The two group tours we booked through trip advisor, including this one, were two of our favorite experiences in Italy for 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of private tours. Highly recommend this tour and if you can get Dila as your guide all the better! She spent a lot of one-on-one time with both our family and the Israeli group afterward making personalized recommendations--we bought a beautiful belt for our son from a leather artisan she recommended, loved the gelato and cocktail spots she suggested, and had a delicious dinner at a small family (non touristy) restaurant she told us about. Great experience!!
