We found this tour to be of good value. Visiting the cathedral is free but we were glad to have the option from this tour to skip the line and have an informative tour guide. We picked the 3:15 time slot, which was the last time selection of the day. You still have to wait in line but it was maybe a five minute wait for us, which was much appreciated given the heat on an August afternoon. Our tour guide was very informative and managed the group well. Highly recommend this short tour!
What a travesty. You still have to redeem your "ticket" somewhere. That point is untraceable!! Furthermore, you do not need a ticket for the Duomo at all and you just have to queue with everyone. Advice DO NOT book this!!!!

Patricia was a delight and led our tour with a sense of warmth and dignity. Her knowledge of the Duomo is extensive and she shares the information in an engaging way that encourages you to participate and learn. Her passion and evident are pride and clearly well earned. She struck as a genuinely caring person with a strong sense of pride for being a true Florentine. A fantastic guide. A+++. Her vast font of historical knowledge and sense of humor gave us a top notch experience. Highly, highly recommend!!! We were extraordinary fortunate to have her be our guide.
Booked the 10am tour and joined others that had booked our tour times from 9am. The cathedral didn’t actually open until 10.15 so seems a little pointless to allow bookings much before 10. We joined the queue at around 10 having met the guide at 9.30. We got into the duomo around 10.45. The guide spoke about the history of Florence as well as facts about the duomo which were really interestjng.
The description was "Florence Duomo Cathedral Timed Entry with Audio Guide." I assumed "Timed Entry" meant that we would enter the Cathedral at the time I selected; however this was not the case as we were required to wait in line with those who chose not to pay (entrance to the cathedral is free). The guide provided interesting context and history, which we appreciated.
We understand your expectation. However, "Timed Entry" refers to your reserved access time with our host, not immediate entry into the Cathedral. As clearly stated in the product description, all visitors—including those with timed reservations—must pass through the mandatory security check, and waiting times depend on the Cathedral's daily operations. Entrance to Florence Cathedral is free for everyone, but our service includes assistance at the meeting point, reserved timed access, and the audio guide. We are pleased to hear that you found the guide's historical introduction interesting and helpful. Great tour at a very reasonable price! The itinerary was well planned, informative, and enjoyable from start to finish. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience engaging. Everything was well organized, making it a smooth and memorable tour. Highly recommended!
You do still have to join the line, but we had really great commentary from our guide Patricia during the 30 mins before we got inside. The commentary was interesting, informative and comprehensive. Once inside Patricia pointed out lots of things we would have missed had we just done the Duomo visit ourselves and we were very happy we had chosen the tour. It was very good value for money, if like us, the extras add ons did not feel necessary this visit. Thank you Patricia!
I bought a ticket for €10 expecting a better experience, but I ended up waiting in the same line as those who had not purchased a ticket. The only thing you receive is a QR code to listen to a review of the place, but the signal drops constantly, so in the end, it is impossible to follow the audio. It definitely is not worth paying for this service.
Thank you for your feedback. Our product is a hosted entry with a digital audio guide, not a skip-the-line ticket. Unfortunately, mobile signal inside the cathedral can occasionally affect audio streaming, but the guide is also available for offline use if downloaded in advance.
Julio was a multi lingual very informative & entertaining guide. Very interesting tour throughout. Good to learn the history of the Baptistry and construction of the main cathedral.
Our guide was not friendly and difficult to understand. The Duomo itself was beautiful and worth a visit.
