Quand je fais la calligraphie Matcha, je me souviens de Maître Calligraphe de son grand frère, qui m'a influencé. Et je me souviens du jardin de thé autour de la salle de calligraphie de mon grand-père. Je me sens en sécurité et avec amour. Il semble entrer dans le "silence / zen". C'est parfois l'occasion de se regarder. J'espère que la calligraphie Matcha sera une chose connaître le "Matcha", le "thé vert" et le "Japon". et de nombreuses personnes découvrent et ressentent la beauté de la "calligraphie ® de Matcha"

I joined Shoran's calligraphy session with my two kids at Maruzen Tea Roastery, only a few minutes from Shizuoka Station. The setting was calm and inspiring, surrounded by the aroma of tea. Shoran is a wonderful teacher. She patiently guided us through the brush strokes and shared insights that made shodō feel approachable yet meaningful. She also talked about her favorite spots in Shizuoka, making the whole experience feel personal and connected to the local culture. The pace was perfect for both adults and children. We ended with a cup of green tea for me and matcha shaved ice for the kids, which felt like the sweetest way to close our time together. This was more than a class. It was a chance to slow down, connect, and experience a piece of Japanese tradition in a memorable way. Thank you Shoran!
The Matcha Calligraphy with Shoran was wonderful. There were four of us (two couples) and we all had a very relaxing and enjoyable time learning calligraphy. She is a very patient teacher and gave us alternate ways to work through the issues we were having with painting.
