Le lac Tanuki offre une atmosphère plus calme et paisible par rapport aux lacs Fuji Five, plus touristiques. Was confusion about us having a tour. I finally said yes I paid for this tour. He picked us up late and drove us to the group to join the tour. Thank you for the extra service. Everything went great with our guide. Saw Mt Fuji several times

If I could give this company and tour 6 stars I would. It has honestly been the best tour in Japan by far, and we have had some really great tours already. Communication from the company was always prompt. Miu, our guide, great! She was so kind, knowledgeable and kept us all on track and in her sights. This small group tour (just six of us in the van), was comfortable, evenly paced and all of the sites were just beautiful. They really exceeded our expectations…. and… Mt. Fuji was in her glory even with the rain.
The tour was great. We were in a small group with our tour guide Jon who drove the minibus to each place on our itinerary. Unfortunately the weather was cloudy and Fuji was not visible but the highlight was the valley with multiple waterfalls , such a beautiful spot. A good tour to do if you are on a cruise, we were back in plenty of time.
Interesting trip around the Mount Fuji general area. Unfortunately the mount was being shy today (we did see the side of it briefly!). Our guide John has excellent English and made the trip interesting and informative. Would definitely recommend. The waterfalls are beautiful
Great tour! Mua was an excellent guide. She explained everything and gave us the time needed to explore. This was a small group of 6 which was very nice and a friendly a wonderful tour. Definitely recommend.
It was a cloudy day and Fuji didn’t make an appearance but we knew that was possible going in. Despite that fact our guide Mui was simply amazing. She took us to the waterfalls, lake, sake shop, an amazing cheap local lunch, museum, and even did a drive thru stop at McDonald’s for us to get Pokemon happy meals! She made it the best day of our 18 days in Japan and that is saying a lot as we have had an incredible trip. Worth the money and would 100% do it again!
First, bad weather can't be predicted, but there should be a backup plan when Mt Fuji isn't visible. Going to a man-made lake to see where the mountain should be is not a valuable stop. Second, the poor communication and planning resulted in us missing the sake brewery tour, and finally, the guide was nice but didn't really know much and frequently couldn't find the word for what he did know. I've never left a bad review before, but we basically spent several hours in a van in order to eat street food and watch a short movie at the community center. I recommend checking the weather the day before and cancelling if the day will be cloudy, although if we had been able to do the tour, I might feel differently.

Fuji visibility, unfortunately, the weather forecast from the previous day is not a reliable way to determine whether Mt. Fuji will be visible. There are days when the forecast suggests that visibility will be extremely unlikely, yet Mt. Fuji appears clearly, and there are even occasions when it can be seen while it is raining in the surrounding area. For this reason, we cannot cancel tours in advance simply based on a cloudy or unfavorable weather forecast. Regarding alternative plans, there is an important difference between our private tours and group tours. With a private tour, we can usually adjust the itinerary and take guests to alternative locations depending on the conditions and their preferences. However, with a group tour, we cannot make significant changes to the advertised route, as all participants have booked the same itinerary. We have actually experienced situations in the past where a guide decided to skip a lake because Mt. Fuji was not visible that day. Although the guests agreed at the time, we later received feedback from another participant saying that they had still wanted to visit and see the lake itself and were unhappy that it had been skipped. For this reason, our group-tour guides are required to follow the scheduled route rather than make itinerary changes based solely on the conditions at that moment. For guests who prefer a more flexible itinerary that can be adjusted according to the weather and visibility on the day, we recommend booking a private tour. Regarding the sake brewery, we acknowledge that this reflects an area where our guiding and tour management could have been better. We are always working to improve our guides’ knowledge, planning, and ability to provide guests with a better overall experience, and we will take your feedback seriously. Regarding the guide’s English ability, however, we would like to clarify one point. The guide who accompanied your tour spent part of his childhood overseas and is a native-level/bilingual English speaker. While there may certainly have been moments when he struggled to find the best word to explain a particular subject, we do not believe this accurately reflects his overall English ability. We are sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us identify areas where we can continue to improve our tours and guide training.
Wow, where do I start. First of all, this truly was a small group tour -- there were only 5 of us, so we had lots of room in the van! Our guide, Miu, was on time and waiting for us as soon as we got off of the ship. Absolutely loved Miu! So much knowledge and so friendly -- I would highly recommend Miu as a guide! All of the stops were wonderful; however, we unfortunately didn't get to see Mt. Fuji -- too many clouds. Of course, that is never a guarantee, but it was probably the main reason I wanted to go to Japan. So, if you really want to see Mt. Fuji, you need to plan on staying in the area for a few days and hope that the clouds part long enough to be able to do so. I always thought it was just "there" but come to find out that it is frequently covered in clouds.
Incredible tour, the guide was excellent, fluent English and you see the best hot spots of Mt Fuji. Very recommended for cruisers, good value for the price. At the end I recommend to have lunch in the fish market, it was outstanding.
