Faire Japonais Vegan Dashi Ramen & Gyoza à Kyoto

Description
Maximum 4 personnes. A chaque fois.

We had an amazing time learning how to cook japanese dishes in a vegan way. We were invited into our tour guide's home and made two versions of ramen as well as gyoza - so do come hungry! The food was delicious and we learned a lot. It was also nice to in general chat with the hosts to get some tips from locals (e.g. about knives, cookwear etc.). To remember everything we learned we got prints of the recipes. Learning something for your home cooking is the best possible souvenir you could bring home, so we wholeheartedly recommend this authentic feeling experience.
This was one of the most memorable experiences of our Japan trip, a gift that keeps giving, with every Japanese meal I prepare at home. Perfectly organised workshop, in a private setting with the kindest of hosts. We learned a lot, had fun on a rainy afternoon in Kyoto, and enjoyed the best ramen ever! The experience is suitable for kids and non-vegans, I warmly recommend it.
This was truly a special and unique experience. We were welcomed into their beautiful and clean home, and taught how to prepare a wonderful meal. It was very well organized with clear instruction and a fun, friendly, relaxed environment. I would definitely recommend to other travelers who would like a special personalized cooking experience.

This was the highlight of my most recent trip to Kyoto, as it was such a unique experience. Welcomed into the home of a Tempura chef and his wife Satoru for a one on one cooking experience was just brilliant! Their hospitality was first class. Step by step instructions with hands on experience we made (from scratch), a variety of delicious tempura vegetables (and a bonus treat of tempura Brie!), Miso soup and Onigiri. Every mouthful was just so tasty and fresh. Thank you so much to this wonderful couple for opening their home and sharing their knowledge on some traditional Japanese cooking.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was a pleasure for us to share our passion for cooking .And connecting with you was a true highlight for us.
This was a really great cooking class. We made tempura. I’m not much of a cook buy like this it was a lot of fun. I will cherish this memory. The class was given by a tempura chef The creation was very tasty as well!
That's wonderful to hear! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tempura cooking class. It sounds like you had a fantastic time learning from the tempura chef and that the results were delicious. It's always rewarding to create something tasty, especially when it's a fun experience. I'm happy this class created a cherished memory for you!
A very exceptional moment, a secret address that must be shared. Warm welcome, you will cook in the house of your guests, a unique opportunity to discover a pretty Japanese house and a charming, kind, delicate and caring couple. He is chef in a tempura restaurant, he knows what he is talking about!! His wife is delicate, attentive, excellent English and a lot of know-how. They have prepared everything, with the names of the products, they are very professional and think of everything. Everything is done to feel comfortable and happy to be there. With professional equipment, making vegetable tempura, light and crispy, camembert tempura, shrimp, preparing a delicious miso soup, cooking sticky rice to make tender and fragrant onigiris. We leave with carefully prepared recipes, a little gift because it’s Christmas, and the feeling of leaving two new friends early. I recommend very warmly, I can’t wait to come back. Thank you🙏🏼🙏🏼👍👍😊😊🎅🏻
