The botanical gardens were like magic. The area was clean and well maintained by the community. It was clear that love goes into maintaining the environment. Our guide, Maxwell, was very knowledgeable. It felt like taking a walk through the forest with a favorite uncle who knows each tree and plant personally. Boti falls was a great experience. For older travelers be prepared for the 250 steps to the fall. But the falls are worth it. It was dry season so the falls were not as spectacular as they are at other times of the year. But we the area was peaceful. Edwin, our guide, explained where the falls got it's name and that the area was commissioned by Kwame Nkrumah. Edwin also takes the most fabulous pictures.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Botanical Gardens and Waterfall. Ben is an excellent guide and he made certain that all of our questions were answered. We did multiple tours with Ben and he insured that each experience was maximized. If you’re in Accra definitely reach out to Ben!
Hello, please thank you for such a nice review and i hope to see you ladies in the nearest future. Thank you
I initially used Big Ben Tours for the the Accra City tour, and Ben was such a great host I also used his services to see the Aburi Gardens and Boti Waterfalls. Ben was very knowledgeable about the history of Ghana and provided lots of insight into the culture, language and historical events. Professional at all times, the tours were also a lot of fun and highly engaging. I would highly recommend Big Ben Tours!
