Description
Participez à une excursion en soirée et suivez les transmissions radio cryptiques et les traces persistantes de deux randonneurs de longue date pour trouver le point de départ du sentier panoramique où commence le véritable voyage. Ce chemin mène vers un lieu rempli de beauté, et la preuve que les légendes de Whistler sont vraies. Moment Factory, un Pro mondial de la vidéo, de l"éclairage, des sons et des effets spéciaux, donnera vie aux forêts de Whistler cet été avec un tout nouveau spectacle. Ce sentier de 1,5 km (été) / 1 km (hiver) à travers une forêt ancienne emmènera les visiteurs de tous âges dans une promenade nocturne multimédia d'une heure à la poursuite de merveilles cachées. Toute l'expérience se déroule à l'extérieur dans un réseau de sentiers partiellement nivelé mais non asphalté. Le parcours remonte d'abord le flanc de la colline par une pente modérée et quelques escaliers avant de redescendre - la moitié arrière du parcours est plus plate. En comptant le haut et le bas, il y a environ 275 marches d'escalier.

Chaque soir après le coucher du soleil, la magie de Vallea Lumina commence. Cette activité est familiale et tous les âges sont les bienvenus pour s'émerveiller devant les merveilles cachées de la forêt. Les clients arriveront à notre camp de base pittoresque de Cougar Mountain, où ils pourront profiter d'un parking gratuit, d'offres de notre café comme du chocolat chaud, des biscuits et des kits de s'mores qui peuvent être appréciés par nos foyers et nos toilettes. Au moment de la visite, les invités seront enregistrés par nos Rangers et commenceront le sentier de 1 km à travers une forêt enchantée. Les sentiers non pavés serpentent à travers la forêt et au-dessus des rivières, avec des lumières magiques et des sons mystérieux guidant le chemin. Vallea Lumina mène vers un lieu rempli de beauté et la preuve que les légendes de Whistler sont vraies.

This was a magical experience for the kids at night. The lights and music were super cool and it wasn't creepy at all walking in the forest at night. The kids really enjoyed it.

It was so cool!! The forest was magical. There are a lot of stairs throughout the experience but doable. We loved the "base camp" and staff too. We highly recommend and would bring friends to do it again!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. The website is highly misleading. While framed as an immersive forest walk, it actually tells a story of abduction of a grandfather and his granddaughter. We brought our children anticipating an impressive light show as one sees from the website as well as marketing videos, but the creepy sounds, haunting storyline, and frankly short experience (< 30 minutes) made for something that meaningfully varied from expectations. It left our kids (4 year old and 6 year old) terrified. Worse yet, I reached out The Adventure Group to express concern and frustration and they didn’t even write back. This wasn’t that surprising after we watched major mishaps with some of the groups trying to attend the show the night we were going. They don’t seem to have their stuff together, and the marketing of this experience felt intentionally misleading to extract money from patrons.

This experience is incredible. Awesome beautiful lights everywhere you look and holograms make this one of the most incredible light shows I’ve ever seen. You don’t want to leave……. I wanna live here.. 🥰 The running river with the salmon was amazing. I felt about this like the first time I saw Cirque du Soleil.….. pioneering.

As a Senior couple we found several issues. The shuttle location was hard to find (no directions to the location). The trail description is inaccurate for summer as there are multiple stairs with poor railings (slippery wood or loose rope rails). The inclines were quite steep and sometimes in places slippery. Fall hazards are numerous (we used a flashlight for our safety). The theme is magical and visual effects are meaningful, but this tour is best left to the more physically able (245 stairsteps!

My husband and I booked this while we visited Whistler last week. I had read reviews and even though there were remarks about the terrain and the steps, we were quite surprised to find the paths with loose big rocks, poorly lite and A LOT of stairs. The walk actually took away from the enjoyment of the lights and story because we were afraid of twisting an ankle. The guide at the beginning gave a half hearted story telling. Told we would see guides along the way and saw 1 at the beginning..
