Whistler's Hidden Gems Tasting Tour - 4 restaurants 1 soirée amusante

We had a wonderful time on the Hidden Gems tasting tour in Whistler. Our guide, Carol, was wonderful. She was so engaging and had broad knowledge of the area and history. Playing a “poker” game along the way was quite fun and got us a little competitive. All of the restaurants were great! Wonderful food and fantastic staff. We would highly recommend this tour for those who like food and want to learn about the Whistler Village area. A+!

Carol was a super guide - energetic, attentive, and knowledgeable. In 3.5 hours, six of us ate at 5 stops. We tried two appies, one main dish, ice cream, and lastly a dessert. As a fine tuning, I'd suggest skipping the ice cream and replacing it with an interesting drink or cheese sampling. A fun evening of eating and chatting with fellow Whistler tourists.

I loved all 5 of the stops on this tour. The Apple/carrot soup at alto bistro and Caramba were my favorites, but so was the 2 desserts. I would definitely go again.

A good way to get to know some things about Whistler and to orientate yourself. Useful to know where everything is and to work out favourite eating spots.

The guide was great, and the first two restaurants were excellent—we actually went back to both. The food and service at those spots were outstanding. The guide surprised me with flowers after overhearing that it was my birthday, which was a very thoughtful touch. The last three stops were just okay. In particular, the main course and dessert locations could use some improvement. If the quality of food and service were consistent with the first two restaurants, I would absolutely recommend this experience and would go again myself. However, in its current form, I likely wouldn’t recommend it.

Such a fun way to experience Whistler! Carol was a great guide, super energetic, engaging, and made it easy for everyone to connect. The food was delicious, and the restaurants were incredibly welcoming. A really enjoyable experience overall. Highly recommend!

Well thought through itinerary with Tristan, a very knowledgable and has a fun and entertaining style. Food throughout ranged from excellent to good, we had the wine pairing which was worth the extra except for one, whose wine was below par compared to other high quality tastings. Great way to learn about Whistler and where places are located, it’s all so very compact and walkable.

We had a wonderful time with our host, Carol, and visiting each of the restaurants on the tour. The food was very good and we enjoyed meeting the other guests. I would highly recommend.
