My travel guide, Frank, was excellent. Knowledgeable, was very helpful in helping me be more culturally appropriate— I cannot recommend Frank enough— he was great! I would absolutely go on this tour again and have Frank lead.
Thank you Elise for this heartwarming review. I hope you are enjoying the rest of your trip.
Great experience and the tour guide was patient and resourceful
Thank you for this review. We are glad you had a great experience.
My tour guide Frank provided an excellent introduction to the country of Ghana, its history, and its people. A variety of sites were visited across Accra, and specialists at each cultural site provided further information and education. It was a great privilege to see the city with Frank and I would highly recommend his tour.
Thank you for such great review. We hope to travel with you again soon.
Our guide’s name was Foster. He really was so willing to arrange the tour around what were “must sees” for us. Is was a perfect combination of the historical highlights of Ghana from ancient times to the present and just fun sites like going to see the coffin makers. Definitely recommend. A informative and fun day. Thank you Frank and Foster!
Thank you Gail. It was nice having you on this tour. We hope to host you again in Ghana.
It was my first day in Ghana and the tour was the perfect start. I was picked up at the hotel and the first stops were marked by getting to know and introducing myself to the history of Ghana. After a short scholarship visit to Jamestown, he finally went to the big market in Accra. All in all, the tour was a round thing that I can only recommend.

This tour was an amazing experience. It was the first tour we did once we got to Ghana. David was our tour guide. He was friendly, accommodating, and was a wealth of information. He answered every question we had and gave additional information. He also took amazing pictures for us. I highly recommend this tour, I would do it over if I could.

Where do I start. My group of seven visited Ghana in December 2023. I contacted Frank a few months prior to ask about creating a custom itinerary. Frank was super responsive during the planning phase. He even responded to questions while planning his wedding, which I didn't know. Frank arranged several events: our batik making experience, museum tours, national parks, markets, restaurants, Cape Coast castle tours, city landmarks, transportation to and from the airport, afrochella, parties, etc. The 13 passenger van, was clean, modern, and the AC was always on. Praise God, because it was HOT in Ghana. Frank and our driver, Eben, were professional, kind, very flexible, answered all our random questions, and were ALWAYS on time, which I appreciated. He knew when we should arrive at a location to avoid the crowds, which allowed us to get uninterrupted tours and photos. If you are looking for an amazing tour guide in Ghana, who always greet you with a smile, I would highly recommend Frank and our driver Eben.
Our guide was so caring and attentive to our needs. Each stop gave us so much more insight into the beautiful city of Accra. The people of Accra are amazingly gentle, kind, giving and I wish nothing but more prosperity for them. Many thanks, to the Viator team for the exceptional service.
I did the Accra City Tour with Frank right from the airport after checking in to my hotel. It was an eye opening to my experience in Ghana. From market experience to drumming. Everything was on point. Thank you Frank Doe Travels for this awesome experience.
Mr Coleman, thank you for giving me the opportunity to travel with you during your visit to Ghana. It was one week of wonderful experience.
