The management was so helpful and assisted me throughout the whole process. The egg tarts were delicious.
Unique experience. The staff was courteous and very helpful at all times. This is a great place to learn baking at your own pace.
That was interesting experience, making Hong Kong Egg Tarts story. We could seriously think about how to cook best way. What I most excited about was shaping and cropping tart dough. Very fun… Organising all ingredients is also considerable. Thank you Bake You own&Cheers
I got a booking for 2 people on a given day and time at Bake Your Own TST. We went there that day on time but when we arrived there was an event happening at the venue and there was no availability for the 2 of us. We lost 1h30 to go there and come back for nothing. It can happen to forget a booking, it’s OK, but now it is impossible to get a refund from Expedia because BYO team doesn’t answer to them. I don’t recommend such an experience
The cleanliness of the facility. All of the baking accessories are easy to find. The egg tarts are easy to make, and they are delicious!!!
Lightly supervised baking experience. Beautiful space with everything included baking experience. You bake at your own pace with a tablet. Step by step (some translation issues). The facility even washes your dirty dishes. Boxes to send you home with your treats too. I wish they gave us a copy of the recipe tho... I haven't found one online like what we made. Things to be aware of... Ask questions, they won't intervene unless you ask for help. There seemed to be "regulars" who have unlimited access packages to make over 40 other recipes. Sometimes we felt in their way or children were running around, unaware of others. All in all, I'd like to return to try other baking treats!
The co-baking experience is very interesting. We did some research and found out these self-service baking studio is a very trendy thing to do in Hong Kong for the past few years. Other than the Chinese pastries, there're also many more options to choose from if you book on their website. Staff are polite and willing to help. We made our very first Egg tart at Bake Your Own, it's tasty and just like the ones we have at "Cha Charn Teng" and it's a memorable and fun experience.
