Wonderful tour! The guide “Cisco” made it even better! From start to finish. Nice ferry ride to the Bridge return.
Yvonne and Cisco were the best Perfect tour Would recommend to all Well organised, efficient and informative
We were a small group, the pickup from our hotel was simple even though the hotel wasn’t on the list. Our guide in Macau was Cisco and he was brilliant. Gave us so much information in a very easy to listen to manner. Really interesting. Gave us really easy instructions to follow so we didn’t get lost. Kept the tour moving. Our bus driver King also was fantastic, giving us some extra sights as we were such a small group. So friendly and obliging.
The day trip to Macau was great! The communication and support from our guides and bus driver were spot on. Yvonne, Cisco, and driver King made the day! The transportation was comfortable from the buses to the ferry. We learned about the history and current day of Macau. If you have time for a full day tour, definitely recommend!
We saw much of the Macau attractions. Macau is a very interesting and unique place. We got to see a lot and learn a lot thanks to our excellent guides Cisco and Yvonne and the great driver. I recommend this tour of Macau from Hong Kong.
My party of 3 pax enjoyed seeing Macau, although it was a rainy day. Our guide Cisco was informative. However, we felt the tour rushed and not complying with the timings informed by Destinology: Viewpoint Waterpark 15 min (around 10 min) A Ma temple 1 hour (max 45 min) Lunch at Old Hotel Central 1 h (50 min at a different hotel) Ruins of St Paul/Old Town 1 h (probably) Macau Tower - 1 hour ( just 10 min photo stop, guide argued not included, even if some passengers claimed stop was included , not the ascent) Venetian Casino 1 hour (30 min) When confronted that timings were not fullfilled, agency argued 3 smokers were always late, which is not true. There were only 2 smokers (myself and a friend of mine) and never the group waited for us. We only smoked at designated areas (namely outside customs , while waiting for a chinese guest, outside restaurant and at the smoking area of Venetian) What shocked me mostly was the trip back to HK . We used 2 different buses, but were only escorted by an english speaking lady until customs. On the 2nd bus there was only the driver. From the start, he drove aggressively: speeding up, changing lanes to get through all the time, horning at other cars and stepping on the brakes often and unexpectedly. To the extent that one passenger got sick and vomited twice, without being offered any help. I personally informed the driver of what was happening but he didn’t change his driving. I just hope the sick passenger arrived at the hotel safely, because he was the last to be dropped off and was alone with the driver after we left. Not even a suggestion to stop at one of the hotels to allow him to go to the toilet… So, besides feeling rushed during the tour that not even covered what we expected, we felt stressful on the unsafe way back. I am 62 and travel since around 15. I never experienced such a careless ride. Somehow this doesn’t fit in the stories we were told about how HK wants to give a seamless and pleasant experience to tourists. The next day we had an excellent experience in the HK highlights tour with Beni. So may be the agency has to dig this deeper, instead of relying on good reviews on this page. And if the itinerary is not feasible, than do not promote it with these timings
This an excellent hassle free experience day tour from HK to Macau. An excellent service and tour guide provided from HK side (Yvonne) and Macau side (Cisco). Thank you both! Bus ride through HZM Bridge (55km + 6km underwater tunnel) is great experienced!
Cisco (who guided us around Macau) and Yvonne (who accompanied us on the various bus drives) were friendly, entertaining and informative. We’d never been to Macau before and knew very little about it; this tour was an excellent introduction to the place, the history and the people. Highly recommended.
Good knew about Macus after the tour. The guider for the tour worked very hard and have a lot of the experience.
Cisco the guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable. Note to travelers -if you have 2 passports you MUST take the passport you entered Hong Kong with on your tour to Macau. This tripped me up as it was not specified.
