Expérience culinaire de rue de Hanoi dirigée par le chef

Description

Chris was an amazing guide and we had a great time. He is extremely knowledgeable about the city and country and has an amazing ability to tell stories. The food vendors he took us to were amazing, and he shared insights on each meal as well that really brings it to life. A truly great experience!
Thank you, Mark! Really appreciate your kind words. I had a great time exploring Hanoi with you too. Food always tastes better with good stories and good company. Hope your journey continues with more amazing flavors — see you again someday in Vietnam!
I did this walking tour in Hanoi with my parents and it was fantastic !! From the moment the tour started, our tour guide Chris made us feel completely welcome with his warmth, knowledge, and enthusiasm for the city. He was patient, kind, incredibly informative, and made every part of the experience feel engaging and personal. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. We’ve done many walking tours over the years in different cities around the world, and this was honestly one of the best. Chris had the perfect balance of storytelling, history, humour, and local insight, and we came away feeling like we understood Hanoi on a much deeper level. The egg coffee demonstration was also such a fun and memorable touch! What really stood out was how thoughtful he was throughout the tour - even fanning us in the Hanoi heat to keep us comfortable! It’s little things like that that made the experience feel so genuine and special. We enjoyed the tour so much that we actually wanted to book another one with Chris the following day, but he was already booked for another tour. Thank you Chris for giving us such a fantastic start to Hanoi. We absolutely loved the tour and would recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
Thank you so much for joining the tour with your parents! It was a pleasure meeting all of you and sharing Hanoi together. Guests like you are the reason I love doing this. Every group brings different perspectives, stories, and energy, and I always learn something too. I'm really happy you enjoyed your time in Hanoi and that we had the chance to explore the city together. Hopefully our paths cross again someday — and next time, we'll make sure to fit in another tour 😊 Wishing you and your family safe travels and many more wonderful adventures ahead!
This was the best tour experience we had while travelling Vietnam. We did the walking tour with Chris. Chris is an excellent tour guide, so full of knowledge, so personable and thoughtful with every step. This tour not only an insight into Hanoi’s history but its folklore, culture and food. We learnt a lot and got to experience an egg coffee making workshop and try some local fruit. We had a great time under the care of Chris and I would recommend ever to do this tour when in Hanoi.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was a real pleasure spending the morning with you and sharing a little piece of Hanoi together. What I enjoy most about guiding isn't just talking about history or food, but meeting wonderful people from around the world and seeing the city through their eyes as well. I'm glad you enjoyed your time here, and I hope the memories, stories, and maybe a few egg coffee skills stay with you long after Vietnam. Wishing you safe travels and many great adventures ahead. You're always welcome back in Hanoi!
We did two tours with Chris, one a walking tour and the other a nighttime food tour. Chris was very informative and friendly and gave us some tips and recommendations to help make our stay here more special. We would highly recommend these tours with Chris.
Thank you for your kind words. It was such a pleasure for me to have a great time with you to share Hanoi's cuisine and culture. Hopefully we can reunite again in near future.
I truly enjoyed the walk through the Old Quarter with Chris. He made the tour engaging, shared fascinating insights, and created a very relaxed atmosphere. A highlight was his demonstration of the famous egg coffee — such a fun and unique touch! Chris is incredibly knowledgeable. He also shared great dining suggestions. A fantastic experience all around!
Thank you very much for taking the time to share this, it truly means a lot to me. Meeting curious and open-minded travelers like you is one of the best parts of doing these walks. I’m glad we had the chance to spend some time exploring Hanoi together. Enjoy the rest of your journey, and if you ever find yourself back in Hanoi, you’ll always have a friend here.
Chris is a remarkable person, both professionally and personally. I joined him for a walking tour around the Old Quarter, and later ended up doing a private 1:1 tour through some of Hanoi’s more unexplored neighbourhoods. Both tours were extremely high quality and clearly tailored to what I wanted to see. Chris’s personal stories and insights made the experience feel authentic, relatable, and refreshingly unique. It also helps that he has travelled extensively around the world, which allows him to compare and contrast cultures in a really thoughtful way. He comes with my highest recommendation — without a doubt, Chris is the best guide in Hanoi.
What kind words a person can say! I treasure every single one of them. That’s the most valuable thing I got from this journey, and I’m going to share this experience with as many people as I can. Wish you all the best, brother, and hope to see you again!
This was the most personalized and fun experience during my trip to Hanoi. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially foodies and solo travelers. Chris is very friendly and knowledgeable, and thanks to this tour I tried Vietnamese dishes I never would have discovered on my own.
Thank you for your warm-hearted words. It was a true pleasure sharing the richness of Vietnamese cuisine with you. I hope we will meet again soon for another food adventure, whether in Vietnam or somewhere else in the world.
Absolutely amazing, would recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi or even a local to the city. Chris took me around the town and explained each dish so well
Thank you, Milica, for your kind words. It was a great night out, enjoying some really good food together. It was absolutely my pleasure to show you around the city. Wishing you all the best, and I look forward to seeing you here again with your family.

Thank you, Lyn. I’m so happy you enjoyed the walk and the food tips. It was lovely meeting you, and I hope to see you again next time you’re in Hanoi!
We did the walking French quarter tour with Chris and it was spectacular! Chris is a tour guide/chef and extremely knowledgeable of this city and food culture. He added some touches of his own to the tour with a true egg coffee making demonstration and some behind the scenes local sites. If we had had more time, we would have done the Hanoi walking food tour with him. All that to say, this tour is highly recommended. Thank you chris
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. It truly means a lot to me. I’m really happy you enjoyed the French Quarter walk, the egg coffee demonstration, and those behind-the-scenes local spots. It was a pleasure sharing the city and its food culture with you. Hopefully, we’ll have the chance to explore the Hanoi walking food tour together next time. Thank you again for the recommendation.
