Itinéraire
Votre visite commencera à votre lieu de prise en charge, où vous rencontrerez votre chauffeur et votre guide pour la journée. Là, nous commencerons notre voyage vers la côte nord en passant par les terres agricoles vallonnées du comté d'Antrim.
L'un des endroits les plus visités d'Irlande du Nord, le pont de corde de Carrick-a-Rede, où vous pouvez traverser un pont qui enjambe un gouffre de plus de 75 pieds de hauteur. (Veuillez noter que la traversée du pont de corde dépendra du temps que vous passerez à terre. Le pont de corde de Carrick-A-Rede peut parfois être fermé en raison des conditions météorologiques ou de réparations. Il y aura une promenade de 1,5 km entre le parking et le pont de corde Carrick-A-Rede si vous avez des problèmes de mobilité, si vous avez de jeunes enfants ou si vous utilisez une poussette qui ne peut pas gérer les sentiers non pavés. (Si vous souhaitez traverser le pont, vous devrez pré-réserver votre billet) Veuillez nous en informer avant d'acheter vos billets et nous vous informerons d'un env. heure d'arrivée. si vous ne souhaitez pas traverser, nous pouvons nous arrêter au belvédère pour prendre des photos.
Nous parcourons la route côtière de Causeway entre Ballycastle et Dunluce pour découvrir l'une des routes les plus spectaculaires au monde, désormais classée parmi les 5 meilleurs voyages routiers au monde.
Une belle plage pittoresque à la pointe de l'Irlande et le pays le plus proche d'ici serait l'Islande qui se trouve à 800 miles.
Communément appelée « la 8ème merveille du monde », c'est le seul site du patrimoine mondial en Irlande. Pendant notre arrêt ici, vous pourrez passer du temps à escalader les pierres anciennes, à prendre des photos et à réfléchir aux mythes et légendes de cette région unique. Vous n’aurez besoin de pré-réserver vos billets que si vous souhaitez passer par le centre des visiteurs, sinon votre guide vous montrera l’entrée gratuite.
Une pause déjeuner détendue à l'hôtel Causeway, situé juste à côté de la Chaussée des Géants. Dégustez un morceau pour manger et une boisson chaude à votre rythme avant de continuer le long de la côte. Le déjeuner est à vos frais.
Distillerie Old Bushmills : La distillerie de whisky Bushmills produit une magnifique « eau de vie » depuis 1608, ce qui en fait la plus ancienne distillerie en activité d'Irlande. Visitez la salle de dégustation pour une dégustation.
Nous continuons une merveilleuse journée avec un arrêt photo aux ruines du château de Dunluce.
L'un des phénomènes naturels les plus populaires d'Irlande du Nord, les Dark Hedges ont servi de décor à la série télévisée à succès Game of Thrones. Il s'agissait de la fameuse King's Road de la saison 2. Les haies ont été plantées par la famille Stuart au XVIIIe siècle. Il était destiné à impressionner les visiteurs à l'approche de l'entrée de leur maison, Gracehill House. Deux siècles plus tard, les arbres restent un spectacle magnifique et sont devenus connus sous le nom de Dark Hedges.

We had an amazing day visiting the giant’s causeway with our tour guides. We arranged to be picked up at the cruise terminal and our guide (John Paul) was waiting for us as promised. We are French from the Marseille Region. We had booked a private tour for a Riad trip on the coasts around Belfast. Our English was very limited. We found in our guide Murat a caring accompanist, really attentive to show us the most remarkable sites in just 6 hours and make us enjoy a fish and chips like we never tasted before. Very good driver on narrow roads and not counting on his time to allow us to leave with wonderful photos and an encounter with an exceptional person by his kindness and availability. Murat is definitely the person not to be missed for a stopover in Belfast or even further afield as it can organise road trips all over Ireland. This is part of a future project.

Murat was our wonderful guide. He met us off our cruise ship and manged to cram a load in a small amount of time. First stop Dark hedges then the Bushmills distillery. From the distillery we went onto the Giant Causeway where Murat wheeled my husband to the shuttle bus made sure we were both on, when we arrived back up he appeared with an umbrella for my husband to hold as it was pouring, we then went and had a tea and coffee in the hotel. We had an awesome time at the giants Causeway, what an amazing place. From there we went to Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and to the Titanic museum. Every time we stopped Murat helped my husband out of the car and into his wheelchair. He even pushed him around for me. We had a fantastic afternoon. Thank you Murat for making us feel special and looking after us so well. You were very knowledgeable about the area.

Our experience with our tour was the equivalent of flying first class. The entire day was first rate and our guide and driver Francis was warm, knowledgeable, and hospitable. Of all the tours we’ve done, this one by far was the most memorable! The cruise directed excursions were all very sanitized.
