Sigiriya ou Sinhagiri est une ancienne forteresse rocheuse située dans le nord du district de Matale, près de la ville de Dambulla, dans la province centrale du Sri Lanka. Le nom fait référence à un site d'importance historique et archéologique dominé par une énorme colonne rocheuse de près de 200 mètres de haut.
Le temple de la grotte de Dambulla, également connu sous le nom de Temple d'or de Dambulla, est un site du patrimoine mondial au Sri Lanka, situé dans la partie centrale du pays. Ce site est situé à 148 kilomètres à l'est de Colombo et à 72 kilomètres au nord de Kandy. Dambulla est le complexe de temples rupestres le plus grand et le mieux conservé du Sri Lanka.
Le safari Minneriya est signalé comme le plus grand rassemblement d'éléphants d'Asie sauvages connu à un endroit du monde. Ce safari vous emmène dans une balade exclusive, qui est très célèbre pour ses éléphants et sa faune.

Wonderful sigiriya tour with safari organised by operator. It is a private tour. Very affordable and comfortable ride. The driver was very friendly. The team who manages this is kind and helpful. Definitely recommended. Right from pickup to drop at the hotel was smoothly planned and executed.

We took this one day tour from Colombo. The Driver wasa was very flexible to our request and helped a lot to arrange the guide at Sigiriya rock as well.The team contacted me before the tour day and provided all details. "A beautiful landmark worth the 3.5 hour journey in each direction. Easy to fill up the day with safari activity if you want to spend money, but I think the sigiriya and the Dambulla cave temple are must sees. Be firm with the ""tour guides"" telling them you're not interested or they'll follow you around and expect a tip afterward. Overall fantastic experience from start to end and you must do this."
It was far too long a journey and couldn’t complete itinerary as ran out of time and delayed getting back to hotel missed dinner to late to eat as driver queued for 45 minutes to fill up car in petrol station wasting our time when he could’ve filed up whilst waiting for us at one of the activities - totally unacceptable!
Amazing tour! Very accommodating and helpful and it was so fun seeing wild elephants and peacocks in park. The safari driver Santha was amazing. So good spotting so many animals and the visiting Sigiriya lions rock.
Great sigiriya tour from colombo. Really love the experience and the itinerary .because the itinerary itself perfect for 3 activities including safari. Admission was cheap and not expensive and its worthy .
It’s a long way in the car. Safari is mainly elephants and birds. The Lion Rock is very nice and a good hike. Temple was okay. Driver was great, JK Travel was the sub-company and he was very nice.
