C’est le deuxième plus grand et le plus célèbre parc national du pays, tant pour les habitants que pour les étrangers. Situé sur la côte sud-est de Sri Land, il a une superficie de plus de 375 milles carrés. Il est composé de cinq blocs dont deux sont ouverts aux visiteurs. Le parc national de Ruhuna et la réserve ornithologique de Kumana. Ces deux parcs sont les plus importants pour la conservation. Il existe une variété d'écosystèmes allant de la forêt de mousson humide à la jungle, aux zones humides d'eau douce, au lagon d'eau salée et aux marais. Il est bien fourni avec une variété de vie sauvage et est un conservatoire important pour les éléphants, les léopards et les oiseaux. C'est la région qui compte la plus forte densité de léopards au monde. Les visiteurs peuvent faire un safari dans le parc, une expérience inoubliable. Dans le parc, il y a d'anciens monastères, ce qui ajoute aux attractions du parc.

We were picked up from our hotel on time. Our driver Ishan was polite and his car was immaculate. We stopped for lunch which was very nice then our Jeep driver collected us and took us to Yala Safari National Park. It was an amazing day. Our jeep driver showed us many animals and birds. The highlight for us was the 3 elephants. We did the PM tour, maybe if we had done the AM tour we might have seen the Leopard. But our driver scoured the park trying to find them, he did his very best. We loved the ' off roading' in the jeep, it was great fun and showed lots of skill on the drivers part. All in all a great day, so well organised by this company. I would definitely recommend them.
We had a very experienced guide and were lucky to see a Leopard really close up. BTM and our driver were really helpful organising our trips as we wanted them , being flexible and professional.
What an amazing day for the money. Everything was well organised and we were very well looked after. Word of warning though, if you can help it, don’t eat before lunch. The meal they served for 4 people, could have served 7 or 8 people. Also the food was amazing. Take the morning tour as it was a bit warm the time we finished and other people were going out Value for money 10/10

A very good day out, a nice car and driver to the park, an excellent lunch in the Red House and a superb tour of the park. Lots to see, the leopards though were the highlight of the day!
After a smooth drive and a nice lunch, we set off in the jeep with Tathum as our driver. We weren't disappointed. In a bit over three hours Tathum's excellent knowledge of Yala led us to monkeys, water buffalo, peacocks, elephants, many different birds, and - bast of all - a leopard! We'd recommend this trip to anyone
This was one of the best experiences of my life. The best safari in Sri Lanka did not disappoint. I was lucky enough to see three elephants and two leopards. The private tour was fantastic and included the best excursion lunch I’ve ever had. This tour is an absolute must
We had an excellent experience with Bentota Travel Mart! The pick up and drive to Yala went really smoothly with a nice driver and car. Our safari driver made sure we saw leopards, elephants, crocodiles and many other wildlife. A magical moment was watching a mother elephant come running over upon hearing her baby's alarmed cries at seeing two peacocks! Sam at Bentota Travel Mart also very kindly organised our return journey back to Colombo at the last minute when our original plans fell through, again with an nice driver and car.
Excellent. We managed to see 2 leopards as well as elephants and other wildlife. The meal was very good. The driver was very pleasant, on time and clean vehicle. Thank you for a wonderful experience
Fantastic day out! Private transportation arranged on time and no dramas. Got to experience seeing beautiful animals and the lunch we had was my most favourite meal of the holiday...and ive had a lot of nice food! The guys were so good, cant recommend the day enough!
