Votre chauffeur à Xi'an viendra vous chercher dans le hall de votre hôtel vers 6h50 et vous transférera à la gare de Xi'an Nord pour prendre le train à grande vitesse G3154 (08h39-10h18) ou un train similaire de Xi'an à Luoyang (environ 1h30).
À votre arrivée à Luoyang, notre guide et chauffeur local vous attendra à la gare et vous emmènera aux grottes de Longmen, qui est un trésor de l'art de la sculpture sur pierre, plus de 100 000 statues de pierre ici, variant de 2 centimètres à 17,14. -mètre de haut et s'étendant sur environ 1 094 verges le long des deux rives de la rivière Yi. À environ 12 kilomètres de la ville de Luoyang, c'est l'une des trois sculptures rupestres et rupestres bouddhistes les plus précieuses de Chine (2 heures).
Nous commencerons à nous diriger vers le célèbre temple Shaolin (environ 2,5 heures de route) connu pour le Shaolin Kung Fu. Vous aurez la chance d'assister au vrai Kung Fu exécuté par les moines Shaolin. Le temple Shaolin est célèbre non seulement comme l'un des temples bouddhistes les plus importants de Chine, mais aussi comme le centre du Kung Fu chinois. Construit pour la première fois en 495, le temple a été principalement conçu pour accueillir Batuo, un célèbre moine indien. Maintenant, le temple Shaolin est réputé comme "le temple numéro un sous le ciel" qui est également répertorié comme patrimoine culturel et naturel mondial de l'UNESCO en 2010 dans le cadre des "Monuments historiques de Dengfeng". Le temple est le berceau du bouddhisme zen chinois et des arts martiaux Shaolin.
Après avoir visité le temple Shaolin, votre guide vous conduira à la gare de Luoyang Longmen pour le train G1933 (19:08-20:38) ou un train similaire pour revenir à Xi'an (environ 1,5 heures).
Le chauffeur de Xi'an viendra vous chercher à la gare du nord de Xi'an et vous ramènera à votre hôtel à Xi'an.

The agency did a wonderful job. The guide was amazing with very good English and even Spanish. The trip is a bit long but it is ok and very worth it. They treated us very good!

Guide was thorough in explaining the history of Longmen Grottoes and Shaolin Temple. Driver was adept at making adjustments based on road closures. The actual destinations were a bit too commercialised (Shaolin) and crowded (Longmen) for the experience to actually be enjoyable. Would also recommend for the tour to be extended to two days and include a trip up Songshan - seems a bit of a shame to travel all the way to Luoyang and not see that amazing view

Everything was arranged promptly. Agency is very proactive in confirming details prior to the trip. All arrangements were made without much fuss. Train tickets were sent to hotel concierge in advance and explanations and advice were given beforehand on what to expect and bring. Tour guide, Fei, was very attentive and provided us with umbrella and handheld electronic fan as the weather was sweltering hot! Her explanation was detailed too. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time on this excursion from Xi'an. From the start of the day to the finish. Our driver was early to pick us up from the hotel, but was patient and waited while we finished our breakfast. We got to the train station in planet of time and were able to easily navigate our way to the train as a result of the excellent communication and instructions we recieved from China Xi'an Tours local agent Lenna. Thanks to the help of the train conductor, we were able to learn exactly when to get off the train (which was a very pleasant trip travelling at 303km/h!) As we were told, Joe, our local guide, was waiting for us with our name as we exited the train station. Overall, Joe was a spectacular tour guide. He paid attention to what we liked and didn't waste our time on stuff we didn't care about. The drive to the Grottoes was easy. Joe gave us tons of interesting facts. He is very service oriented and took care to ensure our expectations were clear all day. The lunch was very good and quick which is great for us because we didn't want to spend a lot of time eating. After lunch the long drive to Shaolin temple was good and nice time for a nap. Again, Joe was very informative and we enjoyed learning about the awesome history and the origin of Kung Fu. The show at the temple was really entertaining. Joe got us back to the train station with plenty of time. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Upon our arrival back to Xi'an we found our driver right where Lenna said he would be (complete with pictures!) Again, excellent communication! We think a reminder for folks to have their passports along would be a good idea. We had ours along by sheer luck. The train station attendants on our return trip wanted to see them.

The place is utterly breathtaking! The enormity and the beauty of it is amazing. My husband and I were dumbfounded, looking at all the carvings, small and huge alike. We moved from one grotto to another with renewed sense of admiration and awe. Our guide Lisa was a gem, plenty of background information and history. She was very knowledgeable, witty and funny which made our visit all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend this trip and this company!
