Le meilleur tour d'un jour de Luoyang est conçu pour être complété en 8-9 heures. Vous visiterez Shaolin Temple dans la matinée. Le Temple sera suivi par les grottes de Longmen. Puis retournez en ville. Si le temps le permet, vous pouvez visiter le Temple du Cheval Blanc ou le Musée de Luoyang. La 3ème place à visiter sera ouverte pour vous selon votre intérêt. S'il vous plaît parlez avec votre guide et décidez où aller.

Votre Guide touristique vous accueillera dans le hall de votre hôtel du centre-ville de Luoyang (ou gare de Luoyang) et vous emmènera directement visiter le temple Shaolin, lieu saint du bouddhisme et lieu d'origine du Shaolin Kongfu Chinois. Situé dans la ville de Songshan, le temple de Shaolin est le berceau du bouddhisme Chan et renommé dans le monde entier pour Shaolin Kung Fu. Fondé en 495 après JC, cet ancien monastère dispose de salles historiques, d'une forêt de pagode sereine et d'une vue imprenable sur les montagnes. Il reste un centre spirituel actif où les guerriers moines préservent des traditions martiales séculaires. Vous aurez la chance de voir un court spectacle de Kongfu donné par des moines martiaux là-bas.
Ensuite, vous vous dirigerez vers les grottes de Longmen, l'une des 4 meilleures grottes bouddhistes de Chine. Ce trésor d'anciennes sculptures sur pierre abrite plus de 100 000 statues de pierre, les plus grandes mesurant plus de 17 mètres et les plus petites mesurant moins de 2 centimètres. Après la visite, vous serez raccompagné à votre hôtel.

The guide was very kind and knowledgeable and I’m very happy I chose to go with a guide instead of alone. Everything went really smoothly with the driver and the transportation was definitely more quick and comfortable compared to taking a bus etc. Overall it was an excellent day and I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone interested in the longmen grottoes or shaolin!

The Longmen Grotto and kung fu performance at Shaolin Monastery were wonderful. A lot of walking and climbing but definitely rewarding.

We had our tour on July 29, 2019. We were late and missed our original bullet train. Luckily, we exchanged tickets and got on the next bullet train. They waited for us at the station and picked us up. We had Priscilla as our tour guide and Mr. Gong as our driver. The car had air conditioning and Mr. Gong offered us bottles of water. Priscilla was very knowledgable and spoke very good English. At the Longmen Grottoes, she told us about the history of the grottoes, how different dynasties came and built/carved their own buddhist statues into the mountain wall. She explained the different styles of each dynasty. She mentioned Wu Zetian and how she commissioned the Fengxian cave buddha. At the Shaolin Temple, she talked about the history of the temple, the founder of the temple, how monks live in the temple, etc. We walked through the temple grounds, saw the pagoda forest, and caught the last Shaolin kung fu performance of the day! My partner and I walked at a fairly fast pace on that hot day, and she was good enough to keep up with us. She was also kind enough to search up information for my climb on Mount Huashan the next day while they were driving us back to the train station! I highly recommend getting this tour. It will make things so much easier. I had originally tried to plan this trip by relying on buses and taxis, it would have been too stressful. This was the best tour we had during our trip in China.

<p>The tour was very well organized, the guide and the driver met us at the train station andtook us directly to the Shaolin Monastery where we attended the kung-fu show, later we visited the temple side and went to the Pagoda forest. After that we went to the Longmen Grottoes. <br/> Unfortunately the guide was not very detailed in the information he was giving. In all cases i would recommend the tour because it saves you time but for me it was not fully satisfactory.</p>
