Nous couvrirons tous les principaux points forts de Lima, de son histoire préinca à son architecture coloniale en passant par sa gastronomie primée et sa culture. Et nous profiterons d'une visite guidée privée de l'attraction principale de Lima, le musée Larco. Notre premier arrêt sur la partie centre-ville historique de notre tournée. Nous reconnaissons ici l'un des libérateurs les plus connus du Pérou, José de San Martin.
Également connu sous le nom de monastère Saint-François en anglais, l'église et le couvent ont été ajoutés à la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO en 1991. Le site contient une bibliothèque de renommée mondiale avec environ 25 000 textes anciens et se trouve dans les catacombes situées au-dessous nombre de personnes ont été mises au repos. Aujourd'hui, vous pouvez explorer les passages autrefois cachés et observer les vestiges uniques des premiers Limeños.
Ici, nous allons passer quelques minutes au coeur de Lima. La Plaza de Armas abrite le palais présidentiel, le palais de l'archevêque, la cathédrale et les édifices municipaux et peut souvent être un lieu animé rempli de gens et de diverses formes de divertissement.
Construit au sommet d’une pyramide du VIIe siècle, ce manoir vice-royal est un site à visiter avec ses jardins magnifiquement entretenus; vous vous retrouverez à prendre des photos du terrain autant que des reliques à l'intérieur. La partie de la visite consiste en une histoire captivante, un magasin d'antiquités de 45 000 pièces et une collection érotique fascinante (cette salle peut être laissée de côté si vous êtes en tournée avec de jeunes enfants.) Ensuite, nous aurons le temps de savourer un délicieux déjeuner entouré de jardins colorés sur le patio extérieur du café du musée.
Un bref arrêt pour observer la plus célèbre pyramide solide de Lima utilisée comme site cérémoniel pour la culture de Lima au cours des années 200 à 700 de notre ère. Une visite complète du site n'est pas prise, seulement observée de l'extérieur.
Un parc artistique situé sur les falaises en bord de mer de Miraflores. Observez les parapentes qui survolent la tête et les jeunes couples locaux se promener sur les sentiers dédiés aux amoureux du monde entier. Un endroit idéal pour prendre une photo rapide de vous et d'un être cher!
Découvrez le côté plus contemporain de Lima avec ses vues sur l'océan et ses magnifiques parcs. Cette étape de la visite comprend des arrêts au Huaca Pucllana et au Parque de Amor (Love Park.)
Assis à environ 251 mètres d'altitude, vous aurez une vue magnifique sur la côte pacifique, la baie de Chorrillos et les bidonvilles en contrebas. Souvent négligé lors d'autres circuits, cela peut être le clou de notre séjour!

We booked this tour for a long layover in Lima and it exceeded our expectations! Our guide Edgar was not only very knowledgeable, he made the tour fun. George, our driver, added to the fun while safely navigating the traffic and avoiding jams. Among our favorite sites were the church and catacombs, the Museo Larco (beautiful grounds and excellent food), and “lovers park” with its Gaudi-inspired wall. We highly recommend this tour.

This tour was a perfect way to spend a long layover in Lima. We were picked up at the airport by our guide Edgar and driver George. Edgar answered all our many questions, providing insightful and fun facts about the city and the sites. Highlights for us were the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco with its catacombs and the Museo Larco, where we had a delicious lunch.
