Fantastic experience with Juan Pablo! Bring about 110 soles in cash for the entrance fees. We loved seeing all the sites with easy transport.
Samuel was our bilingual guide who was absolutely incredible! We started the day getting picked up in Cusco and headed to the traditional textile weaveing center. This was a family owned location, they were very welcoming, kind and sold many products. We had the opportunity to see 2 inka terrace locations, a beautiful church and then to lunch which had an amazing view with a 3 course meal and great service. From there we were off to the salt mines where we were able to walk all the way to the bottom and had the opportunity to see families hard at work. Lastly we finished the trip at the ollantaytambo inka site before being dropped off to our hostel. This tour came with plenty of rest stops, opportunity for souvenirs, and snacks. Samuel was not only patient through out the whole tour, he took his time to explain every Locations history, answer any questions, and took many photos of our group. I highly recommend booking with Samuel if you have the opportunity as our group could not give him enough praise!
This was our first tour from Cusco and it couldn’t have been better! Sam was very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful in setting up some other tours for us! Very accommodating and patient especially when it came to hiking with the altitude!
What an amazing day filled with breathtaking scenery and unforgettable experiences! Our tour guide, Pablo, and our driver, Willie, were both exceptional. They were incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and thorough throughout the entire day. It was clear that they are passionate about what they do, and that enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was well-organized and ran right on schedule, which made the day completely stress-free. From start to finish, the tour exceeded our expectations. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and well-run adventure.
Fantastic from start to finish. Pablo was our guide and he shared so much information about the sights we saw. He was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. We saw 4 sights on this tour- Ollantaytambo ruins, agricultural terraces above Pisac, Maras salt mines, and Moray ruins. We also had a stop for a late lunch at a fantastic restaurant near Moray. Van was comfortable, and although there is a lot of driving the views on the way are amazing. Highly recommend! Well worth the money for a fantastic tour of the Sacred Valley that you will never forget.
My wife and I had an incredible experience with the full-day “Best of Sacred Valley Tour”. Our guide, Juan Pablo, was so kind and very knowledgeable/insightful. We were transported from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, with stops at Chinchero (ruins, old colonial town, and textile market), Moray Archeological Site, the Maras Salteria (with a personal salt tasting), and Ollantaytambo Ruins, as well as a lunch stop. Having a guide to explain historical details and the significance of certain areas was so worth it. I highly recommend this tour.
Highly recommend this tour! Our driver and tour guide, Sam, were great and went above and beyond to show us around and help us even with stuff not listed on the tour, such as helping us change our train tickets and giving us an herbal spray to help with our altitude sickness. Sam taught us a lot about the history of each spot and went at an easy pace/let us take lots of rests. This tour also takes you to each spot at the least busy time of day so that you can get great photos at each spot and not deal with crowds.
We have had a lovely day with our guide Jackeline and our driver Willy. Jackeline is really knowledgable, speaks very clear English and just a nice person to be around. Willy drove us safely from destination to destination and dropped us off at our hotel in Ollantaytambo. It's such a comfortable way to travel, as we did not have to think about how to store our luggage while we visited the different sites. The next day we went to Aguas Calientes for a trip to Machu Picchu, so it was really handy that we did not have to go back to Cusco to pick everything up.
My partner and I had an amazing time on this fully private tour! Our guide Ruben was incredible and our driver Jack was competent and professional. They picked us up from our hotel in Ollantaytambo and spent the whole day taking us across four beautiful Sacred Valley sites. Ruben was incredibly knowledgeable and a great storyteller; answered all of our questions and we learned so much. Also was happy to take lots of photos for us throughout the day. We felt relaxed, safe, taken care of, and engaged the whole day. Absolutely worth the money and we booked additional tours with Cusco Local Friend because we had such a great time. Thank you Ruben and Jack!!
Private tour with Cusco Local Friend was INCREDIBLE. Far beyond what I expected. We got a super experienced anthropologist-biologist-geologist-historian-psychologist-photographer who was disguised as our tour guide! Abraham was an absolute LEGEND. He knew what the other tour companies were doing and arranged our day to run counter to those activities - basically, a crowded day seemed pretty empty to us by him avoiding the competition. GENIUS. He pointed out so many little things in an excited and enthusiastic manner that was simply irresistible. We learned SO much about the context in which these monuments were built and abandoned. We learned about the people and what they value, how they make a living, and what traditions they bring to the forefront every day. Abraham is clearly SO spectacularly educated, and he was also so enthusastic about sharing his love for his country. It was a generously timed trip, with a fantastic lunch, and filled with so many facts that you would NEVER get from any book or large tour. Abraham made us feel so special and taken care of as well. He listens so well and is extremely observant about what we needed. He's done the Inca Trail 200x+ and other long and physically strenuous tours so it may have been overkill to have such a super experienced guide for the sites we visited - but it made me feel so safe to be in his care. THANK YOU ABRAHAM! You are now part of our family!!
