Votre visite commence vers 8h00, nous viendrons vous chercher à votre hôtel ou à tout autre endroit souhaité dans les limites de la ville d'Udaipur. Plus tard, nous nous dirigerons vers Chittorgarh dans un véhicule AC privé. La distance d'Udaipur à Chittorgarh par la route est d'environ 112 km et il faut environ. 2 à 2h30 selon trafic.
Visitez le magnifique fort de Chittorgarh, le fort de Chittorgarh, est l'un des plus grands forts de l'Inde. C'est un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Le fort était la capitale de Mewar et est situé dans la ville actuelle de Chittorgarh. Vous avez besoin d'au moins une journée pour explorer le complexe du fort. Les meilleures choses à voir sont le Vijay Stambha, le temple Samadhisvar, le palais Kumbha et le palais Ratan Signh.
Visitez ensuite le Vijaya Stambha, un imposant monument de la victoire situé dans le fort. La tour a été construite par le roi hindou Rajput Rana Kumbha de Mewar en 1448 pour commémorer sa victoire sur l'armée de Malwa dirigée par Mahmud Khalji lors de la bataille de Sarangpur.
Le palais Padmini était la résidence de Rani Padmini, la reine rajput, épouse du roi Rawal Ratan Singh, qui a joué un rôle crucial dans l'histoire rajput. C'est un bâtiment blanc de 3 étages qui surplombe une agréable piscine de lotus. Le palais est orné de pavillons au sommet et entouré de douves en eau. L'architecture de ce palais devient l'exemple de nombreuses autres structures remarquables qui étaient entourées par l'eau.
Kirti Stambha est une tour située au fort de Chittor à Chittorgarh. La tour mesure 22 mètres de haut et a été construite par Jeeja Bhagerwala sous le règne de Rawal Kumar Singh au XIIe siècle pour la gloire du jaïnisme. Le Stambha lui-même est recouvert de très belles sculptures. C'est vraiment très beau si vous voyez ceux-ci en particulier. Un endroit incontournable à visiter lors de la visite du fort de Chittorgarh.

My partner and I really enjoyed our tip to Chittorgarh Fort. India history really goes far back. Prakesh was our driver and he was professional, efficient and made an excellent recommendation for lunch.
My wife and I booked a private trip from Udaipur to Chittorgarh and had a wonderful experience. Our driver, Mr. Prakash, made the journey very pleasant and explained everything along the way in a simple and interesting manner. When we arrived, our guide Mr. Narinder was fantastic—funny, knowledgeable, and full of fascinating stories that you won’t find in books or on the internet. He made the history of Chittorgarh Fort come alive. He took lots of our pictures on the way as he had photography experience. He also took us to a local tribal museum where we saw many interesting items and local goodies. Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommended and definitely worth the money! 🌟 After all this Mr. Prakash dropped us back at our hotel.

Chittorgarh fort is a must-see when in the area. Vinod ji was very knowledgeable and patient with all our questions. Kailash ji is a smooth driver and was very patient with traffic delays and some medical issues we had to deal with.
We had a very smooth ride and the driver was on time at the meeting point. The guide was a local from Chittorgarh fort, with vast knowledge about the place and the history behind it. We absolutely recommend this tour.

Bittu was in touch prior to the start with drivers name. The hotel pick up was on time. Guide vinod was waiting at the Chittorgarh Fort ticket window with our tickets and was terrific in guiding us through the Fort which is UNESCO world heritage site. He is very knowledgeable and well versed in the history of the fort. Specifically ask for him if you book with this tour operator. He will tell you about the history of self immolation by over 15000 women at the fort to avoid being enslaved by Alludin Khlji, the Delhi Sultanate who was determined to expand his power over the Rajput hill fort and the Mewar king to secure his trade routes to Gujarat and Malwa. Vinod is also a terrific photographer and will take your pictures for free. Ask for him ass give and tip him well!! He will wrap up the trip by taking you to a restaurant for your lunch before return to Udaipur.

We had booked a tour for Chittorgarh and Mr. Kailash arrived on time . The vehicle was clean, with no strong artificial car refresher smell. There was plentiful supply of bottled water which was replenished as soon as it was consumed by us . The journey was 2 hrs from Udaipur with a break for hot fresh breakfast at a food court . Kailashji kept us entertained with information about the area , life , jokes .. He was insistent about us having the best experience even though we were short on time for our stay . I would recommend Kailashji as by the end of the day we were sorry to say good bye to him.
