We took a day trip from Vienna to Budapest with Veselin as our private driver, and it was an outstanding experience. I was traveling with my very elderly parents, and Veselin showed exceptional care and patience throughout the journey. He drove smoothly, making the trip comfortable and stress-free, and managed to show us the highlights of Budapest efficiently in just four hours. His kindness continued even after the trip—he stayed in touch and helped recover a personal item I had left in the car. I highly recommend Veselin for his professionalism, kindness, and truly exceptional service. A wonderful experience!
Good service for the pre arrangement, full information were provided 10 days before we started the journey. Experienced driver with good service too.
Driver was very professional and nice. Traffic delays coming and going weren't his fault but cut down on our experiences. Was sitting almost 4 hours from last stop where we were out until our return to hotel. Do your research on sites in advance.
The intermittent rain and partly cloudy weather did put a little bit of a damper on the trip. We however give a 5* rating to our skilled driver Georgi and his incredible knowledge of Budapest and many other European cities. Given Vienna and Budapest were once joint capitals of the Austro-Hungarian Empire with a shared history, the tour of ‘Buda’ and ‘Pest’ was actually ok. A walk around the Christmas market and a goulash mid-afternoon lunch at Cafe Kor ended the day beautifully. A private day trip to Budapest is therefore a return car journey with the tour details left partly to the driver and mostly to the tourist. Go when the skies are clear...for the proverbial INSTA photographs.
George was a personable driver/companion for the day, and we really wanted to see Bratislava and Budapest, but… Be aware of what you’re getting for a lot of money: in both cities George dropped us off at a location, pointed some things out, fed the meeting point into Google Maps, gave us the meeting time, and left us to walk to the meeting point. This was not a guided tour with extra time on our own. It was almost entirely self-guided. Little more than simply hiring a driver. Also, we went on Monday, the one day that the Hungarian Revolution Museum is closed. Wouldn’t have had much time for it, but would have enjoyed seeing it.
Budapest what a terrific city with its vibe of Architecture, people, food and culture. We personally had driven for 10weeks around Europe and wanted to treat ourselves to a day trip into Hungary without driving. Sadly for us we were disappointed that our driver was messaging constantly on his phone whilst driving both of us on the freeway on speeds of 140-150km per hour. Safety is paramount to us. At one point my travel companion asked him if he would like to pull over and take these messages. His gesture was a laugh and we both found it very uncomfortable, as it put a huge dent in the day. Safety Safety Safety. We were both contemplating catching a train back to where we were staying. We had never encountered this before as MOST drivers are completly dilgent, attentive to the road and concentrate. We always wanted to do this...If you value your Safety not that particular driver.

Driver was very good and helpful, explained about the history of Budapest as we drove around. It is a long drive, but worth it. We enjoyed Buda and pest. Will have to return for a longer period and stay for two nights.
The guide contacted me 19 minutes before to let me know he was in Salzburg with a problem in his car, but he was sending another driver, this la die although was polite and nice didn't knew ANYTHING about Budapest, this was a transfer and come back, we hat a very expensive experience, better off alone, she couldn't recommend where to go what to visit, any history of the place, where or what to eat, for me it was very unprofessional the way this situation was handled, get another tour,

Our driver Petar arrived early and was very courteous. He dropped us off at Budapest Castle and gave restaurant recommendations. The views from the castle were spectacular. Unfortunately, one family member sprained their ankle and we had to cut the visit short. Petar was able to pick us up within 20 minutes, took us to different pharmacies to get supplies. He was very accommodating. In addition, the communication by Viator was excellent. Contacting us several times ahead of the trip. The day before they called to give us the driver's name and phone number. I would definitely recommend this company for your trip needs.
We spent the perfect day in Budapest. Our driver customized our tour so that we could see exactly what we wanted. He was very flexible in ensuring we had enough time to visit at each location. He took us to the best spots and stopped when we asked so we could get pictures. It was a rather cold and somewhat rainy day, and having a private tour was perfect so we were not walking around getting cold and wet! We would do this again!
