We bought a package including Schonbrun palace. Our driver couldn’t print our tickets. We waited for next bus but he couldn’t print it either. He said we had to get on bus until we found a ground staff. It would take 75 minutes to do the route and get back here. The driver was very brusque. It’s a ridiculous situation and customer services could only say the same thing
Caught this bus from the Cruise harbour. We decided to do both routes to see sights from the bus and also to get off at sights and back on.it worked really well but sadly the last bus back to harbour from Prater was 17.15 and we were held up in the funfair bit waiting for the ride. Apart from this it worked well. We then got a taxi back to harbour which was only 9 euros Good way to get around on open top bus ans see more than you would be able to see walking in the extreme heat. Staff were really friendly and chatty as well
The red line is good for discovering the city center but the tourist sites are very close so you can easily walk around. The last pickups are very early, 5:00 PM / 5:30 PM. The blue line is more useful because the sites are further away.
Lower level is air conditioned. Upper level was fine when temps were reasonable but today temps exceeded 100 (38 Celsius).

Absolute waste of money unless you like being driven around a massive deprived social housing area covered in grafitti and being told on the audio narrative what a good job the government have done to provide residents with homes. Hardly the wonderful sights to be seen on the bus tour that Trip Adviser describe. The Palaces and Opera House etc can be seen on foot and most are within easy walking distance of one another.

They have 2 routes.Together they have diluted what the city has to offer from what should be 1 run to 2 bus rides. We got off 2 of 13 stops. It's obvious they are just exploiting tourists. Buy a tram pass or if there's a few of you, get ubers. This just isnt worth it. Note, this is about my 10th hop on bus tour.
Inexpensive and fun way to get one's bearings in a foreign city. Language audio perfect. Trip good length especially considering the low price. Staff helpful for finding which is the right bus. And sitting on top with the wind blowing is the BEST.

The tours were great. You could get to every sight comfortably. The staff was very nice, especially our bus driver Jakob.
