Nous commençons notre visite de Dubrovnik en conduisant vers le sud le long de la côte adriatique en passant par la ville de Cavtat et la région de Konavle et en traversant bientôt la frontière avec le Monténégro.
Après le passage de la frontière, nous continuons notre route le long de la spectaculaire côte du Monténégro en passant par la ville d'Igalo et Herceg Novi (deux grandes forteresses turques et vénitiennes), Bijela, Kamenari et nous nous arrêtons pour un arrêt photo à l'isthme de Verige. Point de vue panoramique de Perast magique et deux petites îles St George et Our lady of the Rocks. Vous aurez le temps de faire une pause-café, de vous dégourdir les jambes et d'admirer la beauté de la baie de Kotor.
Après l'arrêt au point de vue panoramique de Verige, nous continuons notre route le long de la baie de Kotor en passant par la charmante ville de Risan et en nous arrêtant à Perast situé sous la colline Saint-Elie. Le guide rappelle les édifices majeurs (Visite de l'église paroissiale baroque St Nicolas) et explique sa portée historique. Visite FACULTATIVE en bateau de l'île artificielle Notre-Dame des Rochers et de la magnifique église baroque du 16ème siècle et du musée (taxe de promenade en bateau 10 € par personne).
Enfin, atteignant notre destination principale, la ville UNESCO de Kotor est nichée au fond de la baie de Kotor et entourée de formidables verticales des montagnes voisines. Après Kotor, nous continuons notre route vers le col de la montagne Trojica, le point de vue le plus impressionnant du Monténégro surplombant le Kotor et la partie intérieure de la baie de Kotor d'en haut. Profitant de votre dernier régal - vue sur la baie de Kotor, nous commençons notre voyage de retour à Dubrovnik en passant par les routes côtières siéniques et continuons vers l'une des 2 frontières avec la Croatie (le chauffeur essaie toujours de choisir celle avec le moins de trafic). Après avoir passé la frontière, nous avons environ 55 minutes jusqu'à votre hôtel à Dubrovnik.

We had an excellent day trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro with Filip. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. Filip shared interesting information about the region, history, and local culture, while also giving us plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and charming towns at our own pace. His friendly personality, attention to detail, and excellent organization made the trip both relaxing and memorable. Montenegro is absolutely stunning, and having Filip as our guide made the experience even better. He even took us for a delicious lunch to a property with several centuries of history. A true jewel of a region! We highly recommend this tour and would gladly book another excursion with him in the future!
Our Driver Phillip was prompt for our early morning pick up. He was an excellent driver and provided us with a ton of history along the way with funny banter in between. The Coffee/breakfast stop was amazing and our lunch was one of the best restaurants we have enjoyed during our trip to Croatia. The Montenegro tour was provided by one of the most delightful gentlemen that had grown up in the area and the mid evil village was incredible. Overall we loved the trip and had a wonderful day. We highly recommend.
This was a fabulous excursion from start to finish! Filip is an excellent and very knowledgeable guide! He is also a very safe driver- super important on narrow roads! We left town early to miss traffic and stopped at the most fabulous restaurant for breakfast. The food was delicious and my iced coffee perhaps one of the best I’ve had. However the real highlight were the breathtaking views of Montenegro. We were on the water with beautiful, imposing mountains on either side. It was amazing. We continued on to Kotor, an interesting UNESCO site, though not as well restored as Dubrovnik, it still had an impressive history and beautiful churches and buildings in a walled medieval city. The guide in the town was a lovely gentleman who gave us a great tour. After time touring the city and some free time, we drove for lunch to a fabulous, family run restaurant on an impressive piece of land. There are rivers, a bamboo lined entrance with lime, pomegranate and Olive trees around the front of this spectacular, peaceful and lush property. You can enjoy your meal at an outdoor table by the river or inside in the cozy interior. The food is delicious! My family loved the salt prepared fish and the non-fish esters had a rich pasta carbonara with a fresh salad. Everything was great. Then we headed back to Dubrovnik with more amazing views of the bay and mountains! All in all a great day!! Montenegro is beautiful! I highly recommend this day trip! If we come back we’ll definitely book with Filip again!!

Filip was a fabulous driver, very knowledgable, and extremely courteous. He pointed out important and scenic landmarks along the way and took us to lovely resting points for refreshments and food. He connected us with Evo, a native from Kotor who guided us through the city, and Marco who navigated us to our Lady of the Rocks. An incredible day.

Amazing day out in Montenegro with Filip. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge about the whole region and a great host. We spent the whole day seeing unforgettable sights and learned so much. The walking tour of Kotor with Ivo was fascinating, learning about his life in the town and its history.
