Le château de Peleș est une magnifique forteresse néo-Renaissance dans les Carpates près de Sinaia. Construit entre 1873 et 1914 sous les ordres du roi Carol Ier comme résidence royale et pavillon de chasse, il mélange les styles Renaissance germanique, néogothique et baroque. Le château est entouré de jardins paysagers et offre une vue imprenable sur la montagne. À l'intérieur, il dispose de plus de 160 chambres, y compris des appartements royaux, des bibliothèques et une collection d'art européen, des sculptures et des armes médiévales. Connue pour ses boiseries complexes, ses vitraux et son décor élaboré, Peleș reflète l’opulence royale de la Roumanie. Le Manège militaire royal présente une riche collection d'armes médiévales. Le château de Peleș, l'une des attractions les plus populaires de Roumanie, est un symbole du patrimoine royal et de l'excellence architecturale. Son emplacement pittoresque dans une forêt luxuriante en fait une destination incontournable en Transylvanie. !!!! Les lundis et mardis, le château de Peleș est fermé à l'intérieur. Seuls les jardins et l'extérieur peuvent être visités.
Le château de Bran, souvent appelé « château de Dracula », est une forteresse historique dans les Carpates, près de Brașov. Construit au XIVe siècle, il servait de place forte militaire et de résidence royale, gardant le col de montagne. L’architecture gothique, Renaissance et médiévale du château, avec ses tours emblématiques et son pont-levis, ajoute à son allure mystérieuse. Célèbre pour son association avec le personnage fictif de Bram Stoker, le comte Dracula, le château dispose de chambres bien conservées avec de l'art et du mobilier de son passé royal, y compris son utilisation dans les années 1920. An unforgettable experience. From the first moment to the last. Octavian, a great driver, made us feel super safe the entire time; he was very polite and kind, and he ensured that we will never forget these moments. We had a great day out on this excursion. It is a long day with plenty of driving but the scenery was wonderful and the time passed quickly with our excellent guide, Roxana. She was very informative and knowledgeable and gave us a wealth of information on the history and culture of this lovely country. Very highly recommended. Thank you.

A huge thanks to Octavio for making our day so special and memorable. How he shared his encyclopedic knowledge of the area with such passion and humour made the excellent tour even more enjoyable. The transportation was comfortable and spacious for eight of us "girls" (celebrating our 60th birthdays). He knew all of the clean and well serviced places to stop for breaks on the journey there and back, and constantly looked out for our safety/security. He really did add something to the overall experience, including knowing exactly where to take the best photos, and where to sit and enjoy a delicious meal while people watching.

Best choice … we wanted a small group your & not the “bus” experience, and was not disappointed. Octavian was a terrific driver and guide , and was flexible with our itinerary, and helped us through the maze of queues. Octavians knowledge of history is second to none … and weaved the history and Romanian context all along a trip so we were not bored … the castles were terrific , and our trip to Romania would have been incomplete without visiting them. Thank you for taking such good care of us , recommending dining experiences and stopping along the way for refreshments & restrooms.

The best day ever in Romaina our driver was polite and considered our interest he was extremely knowledgeable in not only the history of the places we visited Peles Castle Bran Castle and Brasov but of the surrounding area the past invasions what happen during war times and the local crops. Ausgtine was able to insure that the day was tailored to our interests and was extremely considerate about my physical ability ans insure the guides at the places we visited took great care of us Fantastic experience
