Pleasant trip, efficient and friendly guide, skilled driver ... Bran Castle beautiful but nothing of Count Dracula, Peles Castle very beautiful ... Brasov nice ... the only downside too hot on the bus on the return trip, air conditioning at minimum with outside temperature 37 degrees
Ti auguriamo fantastici prossimi viaggi!
76 guests with 1 guide on a cramped double decker bus. Weak AC and water leaking from ceiling to the seats. Window shade only able to cover half of the window. No guide inside both castles. Non-English speaking guests can use QR code on their phone to listen the commentary.
Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify a few facts regarding our budget-friendly tour to help future travelers set correct expectations. At just €21 per seat, this tour offers incredible value. For comparison, a standard round-trip train ticket just between Bucharest and Brasov costs around 150 RON (~€30)—meaning that taking the public train is actually more expensive, and it doesn't even include transportation to Peles Castle, Dracula's Castle, central pickup, or an onboard host. Our booking page explicitly states that this is a "multilingual audio guide with host" experience with "Free time at Peles Castle and Dracula's Castle." Indoor guided tours are not part of this itinerary, which is why we provide professional audio commentary in 14 languages directly on your smartphone. Furthermore, as clearly stated in our automated confirmation email, any short intro inside the castles is strictly a courtesy extra depending on daily timing, not a contractual service. Regarding the bus, we operate high-capacity double-deckers to keep this tour highly affordable. We take passenger comfort seriously and ensure our fleet is continuously maintained to standard. We highly recommend future guests to review the "What's Included" section to ensure our budget itinerary aligns with their personal travel expectations. Safe travels,
The guide is helpful and good. The accesment is given from the expected experience and the prices of entrance fees to the Dracula castle and Pelles castles. The tickets for entrance of Dracula castle are too expensive, but the experience of Dracula castle is only 'so so'. It gives feeling like 'not worth of visiting '. Pelles castle is beautiful, it is worth of visiting.
Thank you for your review and for your kind words about our guide! We are glad you enjoyed their help and found Peles Castle beautiful. However, we would like to gently clarify that the entrance fees for both Peles and Bran Castle are set independently by the respective castle administrations and historical monuments. As a tour operator, we do not control, benefit from, or alter these official ticket prices; we simply offer the logistics and skip-the-line service as a courtesy to save our guests hours of waiting in line. While we understand that everyone's personal expectations regarding historical sites may vary, rating our tour lower based on the ticket pricing of third-party national landmarks does not reflect the actual service, transport, and guiding we provided for your trip. We appreciate your feedback and wish you wonderful future travels. Best regards,
As soon as all people where there we left, lucky this time that almost al where before time and some 20 min before time so we left nice and early. We didn’t bought the castle tickets, because we want visit next time for longer times, so we could walk around, see the castle from outside nice and beautiful, Peles castle you can walk just next to it, and with all the locals selling things and food it was really nice to do this tour. We enjoyed it so much the different foods and surroundings it was a good thing.
Hello Mark, Thank you so much for the 5-star review and for sharing your wonderful experience with us! We are thrilled to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the local food, and the beautiful surroundings of the castles, even without entering them. We take great pride in making our tours fully inclusive—designed so that everyone has a fantastic time, whether they choose to explore the historical interiors or enjoy the outside scenery, culture, and local markets at their own pace. To make this happen smoothly, our team always communicates clearly through the platform prior to departure so everyone knows the exact timing. We were so lucky to have such a punctual group on your day, allowing us to hit the road smoothly and maximize the day! Thank you for choosing us, and we look forward to welcoming you back next time for that deeper look inside the castles! Best regards,
Peleş castle was beautiful. The surroundings were beautiful The countryside was lovely Braşov was lovely. Bran castle was ok.
Hello Niloy, Thank you so much for the 5-star rating and for your lovely summary of the trip! We are delighted that you found Peles Castle, Brasov, and our countryside scenery so beautiful. Romania truly has some stunning landscapes to offer, and we are glad we could share them with you. We hope to welcome you back for another journey in the future! Best regards,
This is not the tour guide’s fault, but the tour operator. We had a double-decker bus packed with people and made it really difficult to enjoy our tour. When we reached Bran, we had limited amount of time to enjoy. Upon return, we learned the bus was assigned seating. With this said, we were separated from our children the entire trip. Tourists were entirely apathetic to families with children. People we sat with would fall asleep on our shoulder and/or close curtain so we couldn’t see the country-side. Brașov we had to walk a mile to the town square. Peleș was nice but again too many people. The amount of people to get from A to B took too much time to even get into the places. I will never book a tour involving a whole double-decker bus FULL of people again. Again, not the guide’s fault, but the tour operator running a crappy tour operation,
We would like to clarify the facts of your experience to ensure future travelers have an accurate representation of our services. First, regarding pricing and value: at €21 per seat for a 12-hour, 400-kilometer journey covering three major destinations, this is a budget-friendly group tour. For comparison, a simple public train ticket just from Bucharest to Brasov and back costs around €30 per person—meaning our guided road tour is significantly cheaper than standard public transit. Regarding your claims about ticket fees, your math is incorrect. Official adult admissions to both Peles and Bran Castles cost approximately €45 per person at the gate. The slightly higher package price we quote is a premium service that covers much more than just a piece of paper. It includes: Guaranteed Access: We secure tickets even when the castles are completely sold out to the general public. Skip-the-Line Priority: Saving you hours of waiting in peak-season lines. Indoor Guiding: A guided introduction inside the castles (as a courtesy extra when conditions permit). Risk-Free Refund: A full refund on the ticket package if unexpected circumstances prevent us from reaching the locations. Guests always have the complete freedom to buy their own tickets at the gates if they prefer. Regarding seating: because this is a high-capacity budget tour, seating is first-come, first-served. Our records show your party arrived last at the departure point, at which time adjacent seats were naturally limited. For families seeking guaranteed private rows, customized stops, or specialized pacing, we always recommend booking a private VIP tour rather than a €21 shared group experience. Best regards,
Amazing day Kept.on time by our fabulous guide emanuelle We saw everything snd learnt so much - cant recommend enough
Hello Julie, Thank you so much for the fantastic 5-star review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you had an amazing day exploring Transylvania with us. Emanuelle is indeed a fabulous guide, and we will be sure to pass along your wonderful compliments to him—he will be delighted to know he made your trip so memorable and informative! Keeping everything smoothly on time while ensuring our guests learn and see it all is exactly what we aim for. Thank you for highly recommending our tour, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future! Best regards, The Management Team
If necessary, let someone visit from the outside, because for 30€ entrance there is nothing to offer inside the castle, since Vladimir never lived there. It's a tourist attraction. In my opinion, it's not worth it. However, the area around the castle is worth a little tour.
Very prompt. The guide was informative and friendly. Driver did a great job. Worth the trip Can’t leave Romania without seeing some castles
Hello Christie, Thank you so much for the wonderful 5-star review! You are absolutely right—you simply cannot leave Romania without experiencing the magic of our historical castles! We are thrilled to hear that you found the trip prompt and well worth it, and that our guide and driver took such great care of you. We appreciate your feedback and hope that the memories of Transylvania stay with you for a long time. Safe travels wherever your next adventure takes you! Best regards, The Management Team
Tour is very interesting. Difficult for seniors and people with mobility issues. Lots of steps and hills. Must have taken over 10,000 steps that day. Driver Costi was great. Guide Marius was average. If you are up to it, it is a great tour.
Hello Perry, Thank you for your feedback and for your kind words about our driver, Costi. We are glad you found the tour interesting and a great experience overall if you are up for the walk. Regarding your mention of the steps and hills, we would like to clarify that Transylvania's medieval landmarks—like Peles and Bran Castle—were historically built on high hills and mountainous terrain with narrow stone steps. This physical landscape and historical architecture are, unfortunately, beyond our control. We always do our best to mention the active nature of this tour so guests can prepare accordingly. At an incredible budget price of just €21 per seat for a comprehensive 400 km itinerary, this shared group experience focuses on providing highly optimized transport, logistics, and a smooth journey. For guests who require a more customized pace, fewer steps, or a highly personalized guiding experience, we always recommend exploring a private tour options rather than a high-capacity budget transfer. Thank you again for your review and safe travels. Best regards, The Management Team
