Après la prise en charge au port de Klang par votre chauffeur-guide, vous ferez une route panoramique d'une heure dans un véhicule confortable jusqu'à Kuala Lumpur.
Centre d'accueil présentant aux visiteurs l'histoire de la fabrication de l'étain de Royal Selangor. Promenez-vous dans les expositions du musée et assistez à une démonstration en direct sur la fabrication de l'étain. Regardez comment la fabrication de l'étain est réalisée en temps réel, du moulage au polissage en passant par l'assemblage. Prenez une photo avec la plus grande chope en étain du monde. Un monument emblématique du centre d’accueil. Une interprétation unique des tours jumelles Petrons réalisée à partir de plus de 7 000 chopes.
Nous nous arrêterons ensuite à Batik Factory pour voir comment le Batik est conçu et imprimé. Centre d'artisanat depuis 1976 avec démonstrations et cours de batik, ainsi que cadeaux et vêtements fabriqués en Malaisie
À propos des Batucaves : Les grottes de Batu sont une colline calcaire qui possède une série de grottes et de temples rupestres à Gombak, Selangor. Le calcaire formant les grottes de Batu serait vieux d’environ 400 millions d’années. Certaines entrées des grottes étaient utilisées comme abris par le peuple indigène Temuan (une tribu des Orang Asli). La grotte est l'un des sanctuaires hindous les plus populaires en dehors de l'Inde et est dédiée au Seigneur Murugan. C'est le point central de la fête hindoue de Thaipusam en Malaisie. En bref, les grottes de Batu sont également appelées 10e grottes ou colline pour Lord Murugan, car il existe six sanctuaires sacrés importants en Inde et quatre autres en Malaisie. Les trois autres temples en Malaisie sont le temple Kallumalai à Ipoh, le temple Tanneermalai à Penang et le temple Sannasimalai à Malacca. Note: - Gardez les yeux ouverts pour être conscient des singes. Ne les nourrissez pas ! - Tenez les caméras à proximité et utilisez un tour de cou si vous en avez un. - S'il vous plaît, ne portez pas de sacs en plastique, les singes seront agressifs à ce sujet.
Continuez ensuite vers Kanching Falls pour admirer l'impressionnante cascade à sept niveaux. Vous décidez combien de temps vous souhaitez vous attarder à l'ombre, grimper sur les rochers ou prendre un bain rafraîchissant. À l'heure du déjeuner, nous vous amènerons pour un déjeuner local ou des plats à emporter. La visite se termine vers 15 heures, où vous retournerez au terminal de croisière de Port Klang.

We had a wonderful guide Rajan D. who was very knowledgeable in the historical and current Malaysia, We saw Batu caves, waterfalls and toured the tin factory - Royal Selangor and beautiful hand painted silk factory. We also had a great local lunch and stopped at the Twin Towers, a beautiful Chinese temple and the Kings mosque. We were lucky to have Rajan on this private tour and which we highly recommend.
What a fantastic day we had with Indran! Docking at Port Kelang Indran picked us up directly from the terminal and in a very busy day we stopped off at the Petronas Towers, visited the Selangor Pewter museum, Batu Caves, waterfalls and even manged to squeeze in an amazing lunch. All the stops were well worth it! A great day out, enjoyed by all and highly recommended. Thank you Indran - Richard, Sacha, Brian and Sue!
Bat caves is interesting, culturally and socially. It can get crowded as you drive in, but amazingly it accommodates all the Taurus and worshipers. Note that you do not have to buy a scarf at the bottom… You can see in the temple without going in. There are some shops at the top for souvenirs. The waterfalls are amazing. There are six levels called ARA’s one through six. Each one is a a waterfall and a pool so it accommodates all level levels of climbers.
Excellent service, loved the trip to the Batu caves and the waterfalls, unfortunately the hot springs wasn’t available, but our driver whose name I have lost, was brilliant and took us to the Grand Palace. He would have taken us elsewhere, but we had a lovely day and was ready to return to our ship.
Joe Tan was a phenomenal tour guide for our day-long private tour in Penang. He was extremely knowledgeable about the country’s history, religious temples, and all the different sights. He accompanied us in all locations, taking us efficiently through everything there was to see, while showing us all the best photo spots. Joe even took over 100 photos of our group and sent them to us digitally on WhatsApp. We never felt rushed and appreciated Joe’s enthusiasm in sharing detailed information on what made a particular sight special. From the top of Penang Hill to Kek Lok Si temple, to the Batik factory to street art in George Town, we got to experience it all with Joe’s expert guidance. Highly recommend this very personalized tour!
Very informative tour, waterfalls were amazing, Batu caves a must see, saw outside City center as well. Mr Rajah was very good and very chatty, made you feel welcome.
Our driver Kumar was absolutely lovely. He answered all of our questions and was a great driver. When he knew the hot springs were closed, he made sure we got to see things not originally included on our itinerary. The reason for the one docked star was for the lack of communication/accountability on the company’s part. The hot springs were closed and we were sold and paid for a tour that included the springs. Additionally, I think it’s important to tell your customers that women must have their knees and shoulders covered if they want to enter the Batu Caves, rather than the driver telling us last minute and having to purchase other close items there.
Our driver/guide, Fauzi, patiently waited for us to get off our ship and take a 30min Coach ride to the Cruise Terminal. The port is many miles from KL. We visited the King’s Palace, Batu Caves and Batik workshop store before having lunch at a clean local restaurant. Then to some waterfalls and photos at the Twin Towers. Not rushed at any point we were back about 7 hours. We certainly felt we saw and learned a lot about KL.
Harry is a great guide. We learned so much and saw so much in just a few hours. He is knowledgeable and very friendly.
