Xochimilco est le célèbre système de canaux préhispaniques du Mexique. Tout comme dans l'ancienne Tenochtitlan, on y trouve des chinampas, une méthode de culture ancestrale unique au monde, héritée de la culture aztèque pour la construction de son incroyable ville. En raison de leur importance culturelle, les canaux de Xochimilco ont été déclarés "Site du patrimoine mondial" par l'UNESCO en 1987. Cette visite immersive n'est pas qu'un simple voyage : c'est une célébration des couleurs, des saveurs et des traditions séculaires qui vous laisseront des souvenirs inoubliables. Trajinera Extravaganza : montez à bord d'une trajinera remplie de couleurs vives, ornée de fleurs vibrantes et naviguez avec style sur les canaux tranquilles de Xochimilco, entourés de paysages époustouflants. La visite comprend le transfert aller-retour de votre hébergement à la jetée et retour.

This was the first time my husband and I ever used a guided tour. Our tour guide Isaac was outstanding. From the moment we met him, it felt like we were exploring with an old friend. Isaac was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. He shared so much history and unique facts in a fascinating and fun way. We enjoyed the guided tour in the Xochimilco and also had an enriching experience at the mezcal and tequila museum. For a first time guided tour, we couldn’t have imagined anyone better than Issac! We highly recommend Isaac and Chill n’ Go tours!
Cynthia was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. She easily switched between explanations in Spanish for me and in English for my wife. She helped us to get a good understanding of the life of the locals who have lived on the man made islands in Xochimilco for many generations.

While this event is very "touristy", it is definitely something you should do. The driver picked me up at the hotel and dropped back. He was one time, drove safely and very nice and informative. My guide met us as we arrived and we had a boat to ourselves. My guide was excellent and told me many historical facts about Mexico City, the canals, and answered my questions about the history of the city. The driver and guide were 5 Stars!

This was my favorite activity in Mexico City! Definitely was worth doing. We had a driver come and pick us up at the hotel and drive us down to the docks where we met our guide Rodrigo. Once on the boat, we were offered drinks and away we went! Recommend going on a Saturday with all the locals and enjoying eating, drinking and all the mariachi music. Rodrigo helped us negotiate and would communicate anytime we showed interest in other boats. He also answered lots of questions and provided good historical background for Xochimilco and Mexico City.
Omar was a fantastic and extremely thoughtful tour guide who had a ton of knowledge about the ecological environment and history of Xochimilco. He tailored the experience perfectly to what we were looking for and it was a great way to see the area in a more relaxed manner.

Very knowledgeable tour guide with Omar. Vendors did not pester which was great. Traffic was a little heavy enroute to the canals but Luis was a competent driver
