Découvrez ce qui se passe au-delà des murs de la ville lors de votre visite privée d'une journée complète du centre de l'Écosse dans notre Land Rover Discovery. Découvrez les châteaux, les lochs, les collines et même quelques-uns des lieux de tournage qui font de l’Écosse le pays magnifique qu’elle est aujourd’hui. Toutes nos visites peuvent être personnalisées selon vos besoins et être aussi animées que vous le souhaitez.

Itinéraire
Nous viendrons vous chercher à votre hébergement et partirons de la ville au début de notre circuit routier en Écosse centrale.
Option - Nous nous arrêtons souvent à l'impressionnant et important Stirling. Sur la route qui mène au château, certaines légendes et histoires qui font de l’Écosse et des endroits qu’elle est aujourd’hui sont légendaires. Une fois au château, admirez les superbes vues à 360 degrés qui font de ce point de vue une bataille si acharnée depuis des générations. Vous avez la possibilité d'entrer dans le château et de l'explorer avec un guide dédié (les visites partent du château à des heures régulières et sont fournies directement par le château).
Option - Découvrez un château très différent et un pèlerinage pour les cinéphiles et les cinéphiles, un lieu de tournage pour les tout derniers Outlaw King, Outlander, Monty Python et même un lieu pilote pour Game of Thrones. Il est toujours imprégné d'histoire et offre un grand contraste à côté du château de Stirling.
Option - Arrêtez-vous à l'ancienne porte des Highlands et explorez les rues. C'est également un endroit idéal pour prendre une collation ou un déjeuner. Le pain Mhor est l'une des meilleures boulangeries d'Ecosse à mon avis
Option - Découvrez les vestiges de l'ancienne église de Balquhidder et le lieu de repos de l'une des plus grandes légendes folkloriques écossaises, le criminel Rob Roy MacGregor. C'est également un endroit superbe pour faire une randonnée jusqu'au Creag an Tuirc, l'ancien point de ralliement du clan MacLaren avec une vue sur le Loch Voil.
Option - Construit par le duc de Montrose au 19e siècle, le Duke's Pass est l’une des plus belles routes d’Écosse et offre des vues époustouflantes, souvent appelées les Highlands en miniature.
Option - Terminez la journée en visitant la distillerie Deanston et quelques dégustateurs à la fin.
Choix - Culross est un joyau caché et l’un des villages les mieux préservés d’Ecosse au XVIe siècle, un lieu de tournage pour Outlander, avec un patrimoine industriel qui en a fait l’un des leaders les plus prospères d’Ecosse. nous sortons de la Land Rover et explorons ces superbes rues pavées à pied, sans doute la meilleure façon de le faire. (l'entrée au palais est additionnelle)
Notre objectif est de revenir entre 17h et 18h.

You could deceive the beauty of the country outside of Edinburgh. I also had a fantastic guy who was well-versed in the history of the culture of Scotland.
It was a great drive in the country. A nice change from the city. Chris is very knowledgeable and gave us some good and interesting tidbits.
This was such a wonderful, memorable day! Chris was engaging, friendly and a wealth of information. We were able to see and learn much more than we would have on our own, and the Land Rover was quite comfortable. Chris was even able to accommodate our luggage and dropped us at the airport in time to catch our flight after the tour. Along the way, we were able to see castles, taste whisky, visit highland cows, stop at a medieval village and more. What a fabulous experience! Highly, highly recommend.
We spent the day with Chris on a central Scotland, Braveheart inspired tour. What I enjoyed the most was the flexibility he showed throughout the day. He gave us options based off what we told him we wanted to see and the whole day was spectacular. Pick up was early and on time from our hotel, gave us a quick rundown of the day, sought our input and then started sharing Scottish history with us. The drive was engaging conversation and of good tempo. We stopped at the Kelpies first, and he gave us the history and then free reign to visit it in our own time and then off to the next. The day was really gauged off our tempo, some stops were longer for us and others we were quick, so he adapted the schedule of the day based off of it. We then went to Stirling Castle and then into Stirling for lunch, once again he gave two great recommendations off of what we stated we like to eat and then was waiting at the car when we were finished! We then went to the Stirling Bridge and William Wallace Monument. We then made a stop at another castle which was on my list of must see and then off to an old Scottish village of Culross and back to our hotel. I can't say enough about this experience. It was everything we were looking for and great company! I would definitely book again when we return to Scotland!

Will treated us to a fantastic day tour that included stops at the Kelpies and the Stirling Castle before a drive to the Highlands. Get lunch at Mohr’s! We weren’t able to test his seemingly endless knowledge of Scottish history and culture, but we tried. His easy going style and sense of humor made the day fly by. And his driving skills were excellent - there was not a moment of driving excitement despite the occasionally narrow and winding roads. I would hire him again and recommend him without hesitation.

Excellent tour! Chris was very knowledgeable about the history of Scotland and the locations we visited. We enjoyed Stirling castle and the Lochs and a stop off at a local farm store/restaurant. The vehicle was comfortable and clean. He provided perfect locations for photo opportunities. We highly recommend this tour!

This was a wonderful day trip! Our guide Chris was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. His Range Rover was comfortable, roomy, clean and smooth. He was very flexible in taking us to various locations and very personable. Our family loved Stirling Castle, seeing part of the Highlands, stopping at Loch Lubnaig, feeding some Highland cows, seeing the Kelpies and getting to talk to our guide about all things Scottish.
