This was a terrific experience for our group. We saw so many whale sharks and our guides were amazing. We loved the ceviche and guacamole lunch. We did get a bit sunburned because sunscreen was prohibited. Stay in the shade on the boat and apply sunscreen when you get back on the boat after your final dip in the water.
incredible to swim along these gorgeous whale sharks! Our guide Arturo helped us to swim along with them and made sure we didn’t miss anything. Highly recommend but come prepared…. We had a 5:45 pick up time and had to pick up other guests at other hotels. This part was really not ideal. The captain was diligent and very safe. Always watching for the safety of the swimmers and sharks and other boats. Our guide and naturalist went out of their way to make our experience exceptional. I highly recommend asking your doctor for advice in advance if you are prone to motion sickness. Also if unsure, take something. The people that took the medicine did not vomit. Half the people who said they didn’t want to take anything were getting sick over the side of the boat. I also recommend not partying the night before as that just compounds the sea sickness.
It’s was a wonderful day! We swam with numerous whale shark and even a HUGE manta ray! We then had a super tasty lunch of ceviche and guacamole! The crew was great and super helpful in getting us close to the sharks! The only thing I would suggest is even if you don’t normally get seasick, TAKE DRAMAMINE! Everyone on the boat was nauseous and vomiting. My daughter and I scuba all the time and she never has to take Dramamine but this trip was vomiting and couldn’t fully enjoy the trip. I only took one Dramamine and wish I had taken two because I was still nauseous even with the Dramamine. Also take your own towels and wet suite if you have it!
Honestly the best tour! Now was our guide and he helped make the trip. He was friendly, social and super knowledgeable. The team really care about the sharks and preserving the eco system. They made fresh ceviche and guacamole on the boat that was AMAZING! I can’t say enough good things about this tour!

What a fantastic trip!!! It was a much earlier start to the day than normal but well worth it. The team picked us up from our hotel and then a couple of other travellers on the way to the harbour, once we paid harbour tax, had a coffee and a toilet break we were ready to get in the boat. We got a message the day before with advice that you cannot wear normal sunscreen before going in the water so keep and whilst the boat has shade, if you’re prone to burning make sure you cover up. It was about an hour in the boat to go 25 miles out to see but we were super lucky and found a huge group of whale sharks really quickly. All 10 of us on the boat had plenty of opportunity to swim alongside and the guides were fantastic and helping guide us in the water. We also had multiple manta rays in around us too which was a special treat even for the guides as they don’t see them too often. After about an hour with the whales, we headed to beach area and anchored for lunch and a casual swim then headed back to port. All in all a fantastic experience shared with a super friendly, helpful and knowledgable team.

Absolutely breathtaking! The staff did an amazing job to make sure we had a beautiful experience with the gentle giants. A truly MAGICAL experience. The staff let us jump multiple times and each time was more magical than the last. If you want to feel humbled in this world, I highly recommend this. Enjoy the beauty in the natural world around you with sea life.

I had a wonderful time with Guide Victor Driver Carlos Sailor Tito, Captain Jaime. I got sea sick and they took very good care of me and still made sure I stayed cool and helped me a ton. They also made the swimming experience elite, never seen better boat drivers in that chaotic of a scene. Didn’t have any trouble fantastic job would do again.
