The most amazing experience. An absolute must do in Tahoe City!!!! The views were incredible, the guides were amazing, funny, and shared so many great stories about the history of Lake Tahoe.
We ended our first trip to Lake Tahoe with this sunset kayak tour, and it was truly the perfect way to close out a lovely vacation. The kayaks were comfortable. The company provided the paddles and lift vests, as well as dry bags if needed. We have kayaked a couple of times in the past but not regularly; they did a great job of giving tips and going over safety. There were three guides for the tour, and they were all great. Our tour was filled with fun, information about the lake and area, and dad jokes. :) It was a gorgeous and smooth ride; the scenery in that area is truly beautiful. When the sun set and the alpine glow made an appearance, it was absolutely stunning. The guides offered to take some photos that were then airdropped, which was a really nice touch. I highly recommend this tour and can’t recommend the company enough. We will be returning to them the next time we vacation in Tahoe.
What a great time. It was a super easy paddle - there were about 15 people with two guides. Ryan ran tour and he was great. The equipment was top notch and we had a blast. The weather couldn't have been better and we got some great pics during and after. It couldn't have been any easier.
It was our first time kayaking, so we were little nervous about it, but our guide Petra was so friendly, patient and ensuring everyone in the group felt safe and confident before we even pushed off the shore. She was also absolutely pro in safety instructions and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area, history and she made this tour both fun and educational. Whether you are a total beginner like us or an experienced paddler, I highly recommend this tour!!
It was such a good experience the staff were so kind and chill, we felt comfortable right away especially since it was our first time. We were skeptical since it was sunset and were afraid it would be too dark especially my partner lol but she ended having so much fun that she would want to do it again. I so recommend it, it’s so worth it.

I had booked a Monday tour for sunset weeks ago and was called on Monday that it was canceled cause I was the only one. They rebooked me for the next night but I forgot as it was not on my calendar… I was on a trail and got out late. No one called to remind me or ask where I was. I have a call into to the operator as I pre paid and it’s just a bit odd that they didn’t ask where I was.
Hi Matt. The guide for your tour reported that you were very very late for your tour (nearly 1/2 an hour), and were not responding to his phone calls when he called to check on your arrival time. At some point he had to leave without you in respect to the customers who were on time. I'm not sure why you're hitting us with a bad review for this, as we can't be responsible for tracking you down on your other activities that happen elsewhere, or adding things to your personal calendar, especially when you won't answer your phone. We called you, we waited for you, but we had to respect the other guests who arrived on time and eventually launch the tour without you.
Beautiful views! Great tour guide. Mack was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide! Highly recommend taking this tour.
Fantastic experience, all the staffs are really friendly and funny (lots of jokes in their back pocket), highly recommended for anyone looking for great view, breaking some sweat!
The kayak tour was amazing. We got a very cool history lesson about Lake Tahoe, a relatively small group to tour with, and perfect weather. The only thing I wish we could have done was see more of the sunset dipping behind the mountains, but the sky was glorious as it dipped. We were out there for a good two hours, and as we paddled back to shore, we could take our time and really enjoy being out on the water. Our guide, Alex, was incredibly nice and knowledgeable about the history of the area, and was nice enough to take pictures of us. He offered to do them on our phones, but he also has his own that he can take them on and then email the pictures to us. They turned out great!
