Excursion en groupe le matin à Omaha Beach Day Experience

I had a very nice time in the morning tour. My guide was Robin and there were 7 of us on tour. The trip very enjoyable and educational, our guide Robin provided overall context for the locations and landings without making it too overbearing, he was very friendly and open to questions. A decent amount of the tour is driving to the locations, but Robin had great story telling ability while driving, so it wasn't an issue for me. The tour lasts as long as it was advertised, around 5 hours. I wouldn't take this tour with children due to the heaviness of the topics and locations visited, especially the cemetary.

Jordan was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the history of D-Day and showing us the sights. I highly recommend this tour! Just one negative I want to mention: Our confirmation email said to arrive at 8:45am, which was did -- however the tour guide did not show up until 9am on the dot. We had a lot of anxiety waiting and wondering if our tour was not going to happen (as guides from other groups did show up at 8:45 to meet their groups), which would have destroyed our short stay in Bayeux (luckily he did show up literally at 9am, but the anxiety waiting -- and the morning rush for us to get there on time was unsettling). Also, I know it was only the 1/2 day tour vs full day, but think it would have been good if a short visit to the museum (even if only 20 minutes) could be included in the itinerary. Jordan did a fantastic job, with great local perspective, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour -- highly recommend this!

Impressive, moving, necessary

This tour was exactly what we were looking for. Our guide, Matthieu, was totally attentive and knowledgeable. He even paid attention when I got a coughing fit and brought me back to the van to give me water. The tour was a great length for our schedule, but still allowed us enough time so see each location after the introduction. We enjoyed being able to walk around on our own. I would recommend for anyone looking for a shorter tour.

Charles was a fantastic story teller that brought it to life. We went on June 5th which had the bonus of extra details but some areas become closed and more traffic.... I think the positives (flags, plane fly overs, and military attendance) make it still a good day to go. Vehicle was clean and a perfect moderate sized group with 16.

This 1/2 day tour was the perfect length for us to tour 3 key sites ...La Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, and the American cemetery. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend this tour!

An excellent trip. Our guide Magali was fantastic. She had information not only on the sites we visited but had a wealth of knowledge on WWII. Highly recommend this tour.
