Après des décennies de conflit, le Vietnam est jonché de sites de guerre historiques. La guerre du Vietnam a eu un impact majeur sur des millions de vies des deux côtés. Il ne fait aucun doute qu'un voyage au Vietnam ne serait pas complet sans une visite des sites historiques de guerre d'intérêt. Les tunnels de Cu Chi abritaient non seulement des milliers de guérilleros vietnamiens, mais c'était aussi une structure compliquée composée de nombreuses tranchées, de bunkers, de pièges, d'abris et d'un système de ventilation d'air étonnant. Le réseau de tunnels de Cu Chi est un vaste labyrinthe de tunnels souterrains s'étendant jusqu'à la frontière cambodgienne. Ils ont été construits sur une période d'environ 25 ans et la construction initiale a commencé en 1948 par le Viet Minh pendant la guerre contre les Français . Les soldats cuisinaient, mangeaient, dormaient, travaillaient, et allaient même à l'école dans ces tunnels alors que le conflit faisait rage au-dessus, sans compter qu'il y avait des hôpitaux, des théâtres, des écoles, des cuisines, tous construits dans ce système de tunnels extraordinaire.

Le ramassage est disponible auprès des hôtels de Ho Chi Minh-Ville situés au centre. Les ramassages à l'hôtel commencent environ 30 à 60 minutes avant l'heure de début de la visite (l'heure exacte de ramassage sera fournie lors de la reconfirmation). Our Cu Chi Tunnels experience was made unforgettable thanks to our guide, Phuc Long. He is a natural storyteller, and that made all the difference. Instead of just reciting facts, he wove the history into vivid stories that brought the tunnels and the people who lived in them to life. The whole group was hooked from start to finish. On top of that, he is genuinely hilarious. His sense of humour kept the energy high and the mood light, even while covering serious history. He had us laughing throughout the day, and that warmth made the experience feel personal rather than like a standard tour. He answered every question patiently and made sure nobody felt left behind. The tapioca tasting and walking through the actual tunnels were highlights, and Phuc Long gave us so much context and colour that we appreciated every moment. Long is an amazing tour guide! He is so knowledgable about the history of the Vietnam war and the contemporary politics of Vietnam, and he is very transparent about what parts of the history are true and what parts are narrativized. He is so happy to answer questions and incorporates a good amount of humor while still honoring the heaviness of the material. I could not recommend him more highly!

Really smooth tour, our guide Long was amazing, super informative, always ready to answer questions, and made it such an enjoyable tour. It’s a long journey to get to the cu chi tunnels from Ho Chi Minh, but Long made it worth it and entertaining on the bus :)

Phuc Long was an awesome guide! Answered all of our questions and was very insightful. Had a great sense of humor as well. The tunnel crawl was very fun. I am a bigger guy(about 213 lbs) and was able to get through the 100 meter crawl. Would highly recommend!!!
