Great experience with tour guide Phu

Our tour guide Phu was amazing. He was very funny and very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the history of Vietnam and the cu chi tunnels. We got to go in the tunnels and got to see all the traps so it was very interesting.

Happy with guide, very disappointed with VIATOR

We were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with VIATOR. VIATOR advertised the tour on their website as leaving g at 7:30 am and returning at 1:30 pm. We chose this tour carefully because we had to catch a 4:00 pm flight and needed to be at the airport by 2:00 pm. or 2:30 pm at the latest. The night before we got a message from VIATOR that the tour would start at 8:00 am and return at 3:00 pm. VIATOR basically told us that it was too bad and that we couldn’t cancel the trip and get a refund. So we got to the meeting place and talked yo our tour guide, Tuco. Five stars to Tuco! He helped us get a taxi to the airport the time at the shooting range. Unfortunately we could not finish the tour. We could not go to the Agent Orange museum because we had to go to the airport. Bottom line: Five stars to Tuco, zero stars to VIATOR for false advertising and extremely poor customer service. It’s too bad. I have taken other VIATOR tours and given VIATOR five stars.

Private tour for 2

Quite crowded, even on a weekday morning. Recommend sunscreen and a hat. Need at least 2 hours. More if you intend to do some live firing at the range.

A Happy Group Trip To The Cu Chi Tunnels

The Củ Chi Tunnels were built during the French war (1940s) and expanded in the American war, stretching over 250 km. For nearly 20 years, Viet Cong soldiers lived and fought underground with kitchens, hospitals, and secret trapdoors. Despite US bombing and attacks, the tunnels helped them survive and defend Vietnam — a symbol of resilience after a thousand years under China and a century under French rule. Today, visitors can explore the tunnels, see hidden traps, and learn how the Vietnamese prepared and resisted one of the most powerful armies in the world.

Gotta do it at least once I your life

Chu Chi tunnels in my opinion is one that you have to experience at least once if you ever get a chance. I went through the tunnels which were small and very confined. Mind you, some parts of the tunnels have been enlarged to facilitate bigger tourists, but not that much bigger in my opinion. Definitely an interesting one to do. The bus was really clean and comfortable. We went on the smaller luxury tour group and it was good value for money. The shooting range experience, as much as it was fun, was rather expensive. VND 65,000 per bullet and min. 10 bullets purchase for each person and the trigger on the gun was very sensitive so before you know it 10 bullets went flying. Expensive for less than a 2-minute experience Linda our tour guide was very nice and friendly. The lunch was ok with basic Vietnamese/Asian food that wasn't included in the tour price. All in all, a very good tour. 👍

An eye opener.

What an eye opener, television can portray things in a very one-sided way. To see the determination of the Vietnam people does give you a very different perspective. A must visit attraction for all how visit Vietnam.
