Perfect lake tour!Great wine tasting and swimming.
We had an amazing time on the cruise! The views were absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the whole experience was unforgettable. Everything was well organized, and we really enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended!
We had the perfect day at the lake. Our Guide, Andrea, was the absolute best. He gave us the most fantastic service and really took care of us, giving us memories for life.
A good all round boat tour, that lasted around 4 hours and was very informative and fun, the boat captain kept everyone involved and we enjoyed the 80's music while driving past the castle. We were shown around Sirmione then taken across Lake garda and around s few other places before stopping for wine tasting. The wine tasting and nibbles was more small wine sips and nibbles, this could have been improved with more wine provided between the group tables, the only slight disappointment. We then explored further regions before stopping and allowing people on the boat to take a swim. Depending on where you get seated depends on how comfortable you might be, as the seats are around the edge of the boat and the leg room can be restricted in places.
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Lake Garda. Andrea was our captain and he was the absolute best. He made sure every single person on the boat was having the best experience. He stopped at certain historic and beautiful sights and taught us about them, and while the boat was moving he played music based on the vibes of the crowd. Waters were available on board. We stopped for about an hour and got off the boat in Bardolino for the wine tasting which was 3 wines and a good amount of snacks. They were all delicious. Then we got back on the boat and Andrea took us to a perfect swimming spot by a beautiful Villa near Garda City. He had prosecco for us too. My husband and I weren’t sure if we were going to swim but we did and it was amazing. Andrea also had noodle floaties on the boat for everyone! After that we still had about an hour of touring on the boat before arriving back to Sirmione. Ticketing was clear and easy and all of the Garda Tours staff were so kind and helpful. 10/10 no notes. A MUST DO on Lake Garda.

What an absolutely incredible experience! Honestly, one of the best times I have ever had. This trip is worth every single penny largely because Andrea, our captain, was amazing. He was knowledgeable, funny, and just a good time to be around. He made the experience and Garda Tours is lucky to have him on their team. It was just the right amount of time and our boat had the right amount of people on board. I guarantee you will not regret this. Thank you, Andrea!
Garda Tours did an amazing job of showing us the many castles on the lake and discussing the history behind them. We had a n hour long wine tasting that was also complete with side dishes to complement the wine. Afterwards, we enjoyed a nice swim in the lake for about 30 minutes. It was incredibly refreshing on a hot day. The tour handed out water frequently to keep us hydrated during the heat wave. On the way back in, you literally navigate under the drawbridge of the castle, which was just very cool. You spend about 3/4 hours on the boat riding around, but I love boating, so it was very pleasant.
More of a boat ride than a boat tour. Learned nothing about the ruins or castles asides from the names. As other reviewers mentioned, it really was just a drive by to allow us photos, but that’s about it. The captain didn’t even know how to answer some of our questions. He also played loud club music and vaped the entire ride and didn’t engage with any of the guests. The wine tasting was fine - there was only one server working for 20 of the guests so the experience was slow and didn’t allow us any time in Bardolino outside of the tasting. The captain also stopped for 5 minutes for an engine problem, but was able to quickly fix the issue. However, we ended up being 30 minutes late to Sirmione due to the captain dropping off some of the guests at a different location. Surely this was accommodating for those guests, but an inconvenience for those who were tired from the long afternoon and heat. Choose another tour if you are looking for history.

Regarding the tour itself, we would like to clarify that this experience is designed as a scenic boat cruise, rather than a guided historical tour. There are no licensed tour guides on board, and the purpose of the experience is to enjoy the beauty of Lake Garda from the water in a relaxed atmosphere. We understand that this may not have matched your expectations, and we're sorry if the tour description did not make this clear enough. As for Bardolino, the itinerary includes a stop for the wine tasting only. Free time to visit the town is not part of the experience, as indicated in the program. Finally, you are correct that the tour returned later than scheduled. On that occasion, the captain made a brief additional stop to help some guests who were having difficulty getting back to their accommodation. His intention was simply to assist them, although we understand that this caused an inconvenience for the rest of the group, and we apologize for the delay.
