Itinéraire
Vous serez accueilli au port d'Helsinki par notre guide professionnel. Nous monterons ensuite à bord de notre véhicule confortable et climatisé pour commencer votre aventure touristique en ville.
Après avoir quitté le port, vous profiterez d'un trajet panoramique. Notre premier court arrêt sera au célèbre monument Sibelius, une sculpture unique faite de centaines de tuyaux en acier honorant le grand compositeur finlandais Jean Sibelius.
Nous ferons un arrêt rapide au stade olympique emblématique, principal site des Jeux olympiques d’été de 1952 et fier symbole de l’histoire sportive finlandaise.
Lors de notre trajet panoramique, nous passerons devant l'impressionnant bâtiment du Parlement, le musée national et le grand opéra.
Profitez d'un court arrêt photo à Oodi, la superbe bibliothèque moderne et centre culturel d'Helsinki, situé en plein cœur de la ville.
Nous passerons également par la gare centrale, connue pour son architecture saisissante et son emblématique tour de l'horloge.
Vous verrez la cathédrale Uspenski, la plus grande église orthodoxe d'Europe occidentale, perchée au-dessus du port avec de belles vues.
Nous passerons devant l'élégant palais présidentiel, la résidence officielle utilisée par le président de la Finlande pour les réceptions et réceptions d'État.
Ensuite, vous profiterez d'une visite à pied à travers la place du marché animée. Vous verrez la cathédrale d'Helsinki et la place historique du Sénat, puis vous vous promènerez sur la charmante promenade Esplanadi, bordée de cafés, de boutiques et de bâtiments historiques.
À la fin de la visite, vous aurez du temps libre pour faire du shopping et de la nourriture, près de la spectaculaire statue féminine divine de Havis Amanda, le monument le plus aimé de toute la Finlande !

Our guide was interesting and informative. We vert much enjoyed our stops and interesting fact about Finland and Helsinki.
We had a great day exploring Helsinki with George as our guide. The tour was well planned out and gave us a good mix of sightseeing, local history, and free time to enjoy the city. We especially enjoyed finishing the day at the food market, which was a great way to experience some local flavours. Overall, we were very happy with the experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting Helsinki
The tour included quite a bit of sightseeing from the comfort of our sprinter van. The driver was very safe and efficient, and our guide, Tanya, was awesome. She provided so many interesting facts and a lot of fun commentary. She pointed out a lot of key things along the ride and also lead us on several walking portions of the tour. She did a great job explaining Finland history, as well insights on the current state for the country.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I hope this helps others. This tour was not a good experience. To begin with the van we were in had very low windows that mass it difficult to take pictures. Considering this was a mostly driving tour (pass by) most of the sights, and we passed by quickly, we got very few good pictures. Or guide was pleasant but gave us very little in the way of the historical perspective of Finland. The Oodi Library was the highlight of the tour. As an example, while at the Oodi I asked the tour guide about a sculpture across from the library and what it represented. He responded “It is art”. Based on what we saw and experienced on this tour, we would not return to Finland. We do not recommend this tour.

Excellent guide gave us a full history of Finland and took us to some very interesting places. The library was fabulous. He even gave us some Finnish chocolate to try 😋

Very knowledgeable guide. He was receptive to individual requests. Only negative- this group was hard to find in a very busy port since he did not have a sign identifying the tour. Also difficult to follow him on crowded streets. A sign or identifiable outfit would have helped.

Excellent tour and covered a lot of ground. Unfortunately we lost some time due to others in the group not listening to our guides instructions about meeting points/times. Free time ended up rushed so we chose to stay in the city and make our own way back to the ship. Overall am excellent day and beats the big group tours offered by the ships
