Vous naviguerez sur les eaux du lac Titicaca à bord d'un bateau couvert avec des sièges confortables et une salle de bain. Profitez de la brise fraîche pendant que vous glissez sur le plus haut lac navigable du monde, entouré de paysages incroyables. Votre guide partagera des informations historiques et culturelles sur les communautés locales et l’importance du lac pour les populations autochtones. Tout au long du parcours, vous pourrez prendre des photos uniques et emporter chez vous un souvenir durable de cette merveille naturelle.
En arrivant sur la première île, vous recevrez un accueil chaleureux de la part des familles Uros. Accompagné d'un guide, vous apprendrez comment ces îles sont construites à l'aide de roseaux et découvrirez leur mode de vie unique. Si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez faire un tour sur un bateau totora traditionnel (moyennant un coût supplémentaire). Ensuite, vous visiterez une deuxième île, où vous aurez l'occasion d'admirer le panorama depuis une tour d'observation et de vous détendre dans la tranquillité du lac Titicaca.

The tour ended é well before the accorded. We were told that we're going to visit two islands.. But we only visited one and the second was a messy place for us to eat and drink. Something we all were not interested in

Our 3-hour Uros Floating Islands tour normally includes the visit to two different floating islands, as described in our website and tour information. The first one is usually a family island, where our guide and the local residents explain the history, lifestyle, traditions and culture of the Uros people. The second stop is generally a main/commercial island, where visitors have the option to buy hot or cold drinks, snacks or simply enjoy another area of the floating islands. This second island is included because, on the first family island, there are usually no facilities to purchase drinks or snacks. Many travelers appreciate this possibility, especially before returning to Puno. However, we understand that every traveler has different expectations, and we are truly sorry that this second stop was not enjoyable for you personally. Regarding the tour duration, the return time is always approximate. Depending on weather conditions, lake conditions, number of visitors and the departure time, the tour may finish slightly earlier or later. For the afternoon tour, especially during this season, we sometimes return a little earlier because it gets dark earlier than in other months. Even so, the complete program is planned with the visit to both islands. At Puno Tours, we take all feedback seriously. Your comment helps us improve how we explain the purpose of each stop, so passengers can better understand the difference between the cultural family island and the main island with basic services. Very nice to experience this. Unfortunately we had little time in Puno, but still wanted to see the floating islands of the Uros. The organization ran smoothly, the guide was friendly and informed well. Obviously the Uros would love to sell you something, but we were fine with that because we're happy to help them.

It is important to note that the yellow reed boat is only part of the experience and an extra 15 soles. The boat to the islands is a normal boat (with some commentary) Children came on the reed boat singing songs to garner tips. The presentation about how the islands are made was very good but after that came pressure to purchase handcrafts when invited inside the homes. This is not so much a negative but to be expected.

Regarding the reed boat, we would like to clarify that this activity is optional and managed directly by the local community. The additional fee (15 soles) goes entirely to them and helps support their families and the preservation of their traditions. The same applies to the sale of handicrafts and musical performances by children, which are part of the community’s way of generating income from tourism. While there is an invitation to participate, purchases and tips are always optional. That said, we understand that this aspect may feel unexpected for some travelers, and we appreciate your comments as they help us improve how clearly we communicate these details before the tour.
