I learned more on this trip that I learned in school. The guide Moana was superb. Extensive background information for each of the places visited was shared by the guide. Pictures maps and charts as a part of the background information were well placed throughout the tour. Once at a location, there was sufficient time for exploration of the site/location. Stories as to why things were the way they were made the trip more meaningful.
We toured with Ellen who was very polite and accomodating. She provided us with interesting details and information about each site. We were lucky enough to only have our party of 5 on the tour so it was almost like a private tour. The sites were amazing and she gave us ample time to explore.
Great tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and really made this trip memorable for our family. My 13 and 10 year old children learned a lot and had plenty of time to explore the areas and learn at the same time.
This tour was a full day tour with a very knowledgeable guide, Wally. It’s really worth taking the guide to see the D-Day sights. I learned so much about this historical event that I would not have l otherwise known. Wally was very informative.
The full day tour is the best! So much involved! The early departure (8:30) allows a visit to the German cemetery also. The main tour includes Utah and Omaha beaches, the American cemetery, Point du Hoc, and the city of Saint Mere Eglese. The tours are kept small (ours had only 4 plus our guide) and that makes them really personable. Faustin (our guide) was fantastic! Very personable and knowledgeable! It was a great day!
This tour covered a lot of ground in a well organised way. The tour guide Lucy was great and full of information. I really enjoyed the day.
Rose was our guide for two days. She took us from Bayeux to Mont St Michel and a full day of D-Day sites. She was outstanding, great at logistics and storytelling. I respect her knowledge and experiences as a guide and woman of Normandy. We had a great mini bus and driver, Alexandra.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable on the battles that happened at Normandy and the history of the war.
Tour guide seemed nice. A little trouble with English - maybe she had to search for a word 1-2 times on the tour.
