The Palace Complex of Ak-Saray
Palais Ak Saray (Palais Blanc). Les dimensions du bâtiment peuvent être perçues en regardant les tours-portes : les deux tours mesuraient 50 m de haut et avaient un arc d'une portée de 22 m. Les bâtiments ont été détruits au XVIe siècle. sur ordre du souverain de Boukhara, Abdullah Khan.
Kok-Gumbaz Mosque
En 1435, la mosquée Kok-Gumbaz (la « Dôme Bleue ») fut construite en face du mausolée de Kulyal et sur le même axe. L'inscription sur le portail parle de sa construction par Oulougbek au nom de son père Shah Rukh. Elle jouait le rôle de la mosquée Juma, c'est-à-dire la mosquée cathédrale du vendredi de Shahrisabz.
Dorut Tilovat
La création de l'ensemble architectural de la médersa Dorut-Tilavat remonte principalement au règne d'Oulougbek. Tout d'abord, un mausolée en forme de dôme a été érigé sur la tombe de Cheikh Kul, sur les vestiges de certains bâtiments antérieurs. Promenez-vous et prenez de superbes photos avec le gigantesque dôme bleu au-dessus de la mosquée du vendredi et les arches complexes.
Statue of Amir Timur
Vous rencontrerez beaucoup de gens locaux ici, et en particulier des mariages. Il est situé au centre du nouveau parc Bult avec de la verdure et des fleurs et vous pourrez y déguster une délicieuse glace dans l'un des "chayhanas" (salon de thé traditionnel). avec des colonnes en bois sculpté.

Beautiful Mountain Views and fascinating details on Timurid history
Lovely day. Meeting point was as arranged and at 9am on the dot. Travel to the Shahrisabz was smooth and easy. We stopped at few points for a bit of history and views. Our guide Zarshed was extremely knowledgeable with excellent English, very honest and kind. We had a lovely day and I would highly recommend.

Deceiving, not what expected.
The guide had several historical inaquracies, tagging everything related to Russia (either the empire or the Soviet Union era) as sovietic which led to various explanations which were misleading: "the earthquake and Von Kauffman destroyed the castle, so the soviets destroyed it." We consider this kind of mistakes are quite serious in a tour priced at 49$ per person, where we should get quality information. Moreover, the information that was given was not almost anything new, we have all heard more or less the same in the freetour in Samarkand. On the other hand, it was unconfortable to us stopping at every store were purses and local clothing were crafted. If we would have known the amount of time we would spend refusing proposals to buy many products, we would definitely not do the tour. Our aim was to know about the history of the place, not buying artisan products.

This price included transportation from Samarkand to Shahrisabz and back, a comfortable vehicle, and a professional guide for the full-day trip. Considering the distance of approximately 100 km each way, the transportation and professional guiding service, we believe this was a very reasonable package. Regarding the craft shops, these visits are connected with the local culture and traditional handicrafts of Shahrisabz. No guest is required to purchase anything. We are sorry that these cultural stops did not match your personal expectations, but they are not intended to be a way of forcing guests to shop. We fully respect that every traveler has different preferences. However, we also believe that a review should reflect the service provided and the actual nature of the tour, rather than expectations that were not part of the experience. Beatifico people
We had a wonderful time! It was a spectacular day and everything was very well organized. Our driver was excellent and drove very professionally. He explained the schedule and timings clearly and kept the conversation pleasant throughout the journey, speaking very good English. Our English-speaking guide was extremely knowledgeable and well prepared. He accompanied us throughout the entire visit, explaining not only the history but also interesting little stories about life in the past and local customs today. On the way back, we stopped at a lovely traditional restaurant where we had excellent food. The organization was truly excellent, and we enjoyed the day very much. We would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Uzbekistan. Thank you for such a great experience!

An unforgetable experience in Shrahisabz
An incredible experience visiting the historical city of Shrahisabz with World Heritage monuments. The tour guide Mehrojbek was great, friendly, close and very professional together with the nice and excellent driver Axmadjon made a good team I definitively recommend and you will leave the site very satisfied as me.

Trip to Samarkand for my friends.

Highly recommend if you are interested in history & current affair of Uzbekistan
Really well organised trip. My guide Mehrojbek was quite knowledge about the region. More than the trip I really enjoyed having lunch with him and understanding how young Uzbek’s view the country as it currently stands. If you are looking to understand the history of Uzbekistan and its current state, I would highly recommend this trip!
