Itinéraire
Temple Muthumariamman ou Arulmigu Sri Muthumari Amman Kovil est un temple hindou à Matale, Sri Lanka. Le préfixe «Muthu» signifie littéralement «perle». «Mari» signifie pluie et «Amman» signifie mère en langue tamoule. Le temple est dédié à Mariamman, la déesse de la pluie et de la fertilité.
Un jardin d'épices aux herbes
Sigiriya ou Sinhagiri est une ancienne forteresse rocheuse située dans le nord du district de Matale, près de la ville de Dambulla, dans la province centrale du Sri Lanka. Le nom fait référence à un site d'importance historique et archéologique dominé par une énorme colonne de roche de près de 200 mètres de haut.
Le temple de la grotte de Dambulla est également connu sous le nom de Temple d'or de Dambulla est un site du patrimoine mondial au Sri Lanka, situé dans la partie centrale du pays.

L'heure de départ est aux alentours de 8h00. Cependant, nous varierions cette fois en fonction de la demande des clients. Mais nous suggérons que l'heure de départ soit au moins avant 10h00 afin que nous puissions effectuer lentement toutes les étapes de l'itinéraire sans nous précipiter. Pour que le Guide touristique parlant Anglais puisse rejoindre le lieu de prise en charge (doit être à Kandy), veuillez fournir les détails du séjour au moins 1 heure avant l'heure de départ.

A excellent full days trip, driver Kavishan contacted us before to make sure when and where to be collected, our hotel was difficult to get close so decided a easier collection point, he was bang on time, exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly, full of local knowledge and happy to answer any questions, the tour itself was just right with local culture visiting matale (temple) Dambulla cave temple, ranweli spice garden which for us was perfect, and then finishing off with the must see Sigiriya lion rock - it’s a tough climb but well worth it to see the spectacular views ! Kavishan was helpful throughout the whole day, willing to stop anywhere and totally flexible, have been on numerous trips and he is by far one of the best guides/drivers we came across

What an absolutely incredible experience with Lanka Safe Tours! We booked the “Kandy to Sigiriya Day Tour and Dambulla Cave Temple with Private Vehicle” and from the very beginning to the very end, the service was exceptional. Our driver and guide, Kavishan (Kavi), was simply outstanding. Polite, professional, well-spoken, and incredibly knowledgeable, he made every part of the journey enjoyable. Professional driver and very helpful. All went according to plan including pickup and drop off. Very good communication throughout.
We booked late the night before but our driver was ready and waiting at 08:00 sharp. We went to Sri Muthumari Amman Kovil Hindu temple (3/5), spice gardens (4/6) the dambla temple (4/5) and sigiria (5/5)
We had a great day trip to Dambulla and Sigriya from kandy with Dinesh today. Dinesh was great from the time he picked us up from our hotel this morning until he dropped our hotel key off to us this evening. We had accidentally left in his car. Dinesh managed the sometimes chaotic traffic on this little gem of an island with confidence and ease, and we felt relaxed and safe with him at the wheel. You cant go wrong if you choose to drive with Dinesh. He is the best!
So, the not so good bits first. The description said guide included which seemed to infer we would have a guide at the temples and Sigiriya but these were extra cost if you wanted them. Minor point no water supplied as stated in description. Our driver Nazly was very good and we felt safe with his driving but he was not very talkative and didn’t point out much. Sigiriya is very busy so be prepared and do your research.

Excellent day trip from Kandy. We were able to view the temples, Ayurvedic spice garden and Sigiriya rock easily at a relaxed pace. Big thanks to our driver Fazli, who was an excellent and accommodating guide. He drove us safely, and chose some great places for us to eat breakfast and lunch when we were hungry, and went out of his way to buy us umbrellas when it started to rain. Highly recommend, thanks!
