Les chutes Ramboda sont hautes de 109 m (358 pi) et se classent 11e plus hautes chutes d'eau au Sri Lanka et 729e plus hautes chutes d'eau au monde. Il est situé dans la région de Pussellawa, sur l'autoroute A5 à Ramboda Pass. Il est formé par Panna Oya qui est un affluent de Kothmale Oya. L'altitude des chutes est de 945 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer.
Le bureau de poste de Nuwara Eliya est un bâtiment emblématique qui est situé au centre de la ville de Nuwara Eliya. Ce bâtiment de deux étages en brique rouge construit selon le style architectural néo-Tudor est l'un des plus anciens bureaux de poste du pays. En 2012, l'étage supérieur du bâtiment, qui était le logement du maître de poste, a été transformé en lieu d'hébergement touristique.
Souvent surnommée « Little England », cette gente communauté des hauts plateaux a une teinte rose, vaguement villageoise britannique, avec ses bungalows de l’époque coloniale, ses hôtels de style Tudor, ses haies bien entretenues et ses jolis jardins. En effet, Nuwara Eliya était autrefois l’échappatoire privilégiée des pionniers anglais et écossais de l’industrie du thé du Sri Lanka, travailleurs et buveurs.
Le lac Gregory, parfois aussi appelé lac Gregory ou réservoir Gregory, est un réservoir au cœur de la ville de collines de la campagne du thé, Nuwara Eliya, au Sri Lanka. Le lac Gregory a été construit pendant la période du gouverneur britannique Sir William Gregory en 1873. Le lac et les environs constituent la région du lac Gregory.

We had an amazing 3 nights tour with Indika around Sri Lanka. We visited Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Mirissa, and returned to Colombo. Indika was very friendly, helpful, and always made sure we were comfortable during the whole trip. He drove safely, explained many places to us, and helped us enjoy the beautiful scenery and attractions. The tour was well organized and stress-free. We made a trip with Indika from Kandy to Ambewela train station. Indika is an excellent driver. He got us tickets for the train to Ella and picked out the best seats for us on the train. Unfortunately, due to the low water level, it did not work out with a swim at the falls. We can recommend Indika without restriction. Thank you Indika

we had a great experience driving from Kandy to Ella! We stopped off for a lovely lunch by a waterfall. Would highly recommend.

Indika was a very good guide for us. He was very accommodating. His vehicles (tuktuk and car) were very comfortable. It was very nice and always ready to share with us its most beautiful spots and culture. We have a good memory of it. Thank you again.
