Started out as a great day with very knowledgeable guide, James. The day was filled with Mexican culture, tradition, and architecture. There was ample time to visit sites, have lunch and shop. On the drive back to Mexico City, the van experienced a flat tire that added 30 minutes to the day. The guide told us, then, that the roads in the city were closed due to festivities and he could not get us to the drop off point, Hilton Roma Hotel. The driver and guide stopped the van at a random metro station outside the city. Newly found friends from the van, on this trip, helped to navigate me and others back to the starting point via the underground metro. These volunteers/friends paid the way for 5 people to enter the metro and direct us back to the days starting point. I feel that the guide should’ve accompanied us on the metro to the stated drop off point.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, the tour is a perfect combination to showcase de rich culture of Mexico and we are happy that you got to enjoy it We are sorry for the issue with the transportation, we'll take note on the comments you made
Very disappointing tour. Unfortunately we did not get to Cholula due to a highway accident so not the fault of the tour company. I rate this as poor because Puebla is not very interesting - I went on a Sunday so we saw the church and then spent way too much time in the market and at a restaurant for lunch. I did not eat at the restaurant but those who did said the food was not worth the money. There did not seem to be much to do in the town. Unfortunately there is way too much time in the bus due to horrendous traffic. The company also sent me an email stating the pickup time was 6:30 am but was actually 6:50 am. I was on the last drop off which was close to 10:00 pm so close to 5 hours to get back to the city. The guide was okay but not very responsive to questions and comments. The bus driver was very patient and safe.
You did get to Cholula, the traffic accident only delayed the arrive for around 20 minutes to Cholula Puebla is a place rich in culture, food and welcoming people, Puebla is interesting for those looking for these things It's fine if you don't like mexican food, however, saying that it was not "worth the money" is a nuance We advice that you take tours less cultural since you don't seem to be interested in culture at all And the times you described, are nothing close to real, the guide was not responsive since you were constantly complaning about the food, the people around you and even making fun of Puebla For any readers, please understand that this is a cultural tour for people looking to know Mexico better
Due to a major accident on the highway to Chulula we were not able to make it to the pyramids. Puebla was not worth the long drive we had. Although it is a pretty city there isn't really much to do. The mercado was large and had alot of local crafts. Due to the horrendous traffic inside the city as well as in the outskirts the round trip was close to a total of 7.5 hours. Totally not worth it!
Alexa and Manuel are a great team, they did their best to be close and friendly from the start. The visits were accurate and had the quality information, in English and Spanish perfectly mastered by Alexa. I highly recommend the mole poblano!
Agradecemos sus amables palabras para nuestros guías, nos alegra mucho que haya disfrutado de la maravilla cultural que es la ciudad de Puebla Mexico tiene mucho más para ofrecer, nos encantaría poder acompañarlos en su siguiente aventura
